  4. Hi everyone my son is ten and has aspergers syndrome. He is mature in many ways but he;s tv interests are very immature, he loved Balamory when he was growing up and has lately seemed to obsessional about watching it, does anyone have any advice how i can handle this situation and why it may be happening please. Thanks
  5. My son is also 8 and is on a massive Scooby doo phase, but also loves the green balloon club on cbeebies
  6. Hi my son who has aspergers has recently been very upset if anyone has the same colour top on as him. When we arrived at Nans today he said to me " i hope nan isnt white like me" meaning he hoped she didnt have a white top on. Well she did so he proceded to remove he's top, this even includes you being pink if you havent got a top on at all. Can anyone explain to me how this may make him feel and let me know if this has happend to any of of your lovely kids. Thanks
  7. Hi Just a reply about easter eggs, there is a good choice on www.goodnessdirect.co.uk, including the simpsons one. Hope this helps
  8. Hi Was wondering if any of your children flick the dvd/ video controls to freeze frame the screen constantly, does anyone know why this happens, i know it seems to be a stim but wondered if anyone had any ideas out there.
  9. Hi My son also had a bowel infection and is intolerant to milk, wheat, chocolate, orange. Since he has been eating a restricted diet he has calmed down alot and he talks alot more and seems to be able to string sentences together much easier. It has also removed he's bad chest and asthma and excema. I suppose you can only take as you find, but i would say its been well worth the struggles of change. Lisa
  10. Thanks for the reply Baddad. We are going Barcelona by easyjet. Your info has given me a few ideas. Thanks Lisa
  11. Hi Was wondering if anyone can help. My son is on wheat free and milk free diet and has a restricted diet of free from products from Tesco. I am concerned that we want to go abroad by plane this year. Can anyone tell me if i can take frozen products on a flight ie chicken nuggets, sausages etc by cool box packed with ice etc. Is anyone else affected by this problem, as he doesn't and won't eat anything else. Thanks Lisa
