Little Monster Report post Posted April 26, 2007 Hi I'm new here and just wondering if anyone can help. I have just had access to my sons medical records and in one of them the Gp commented on him having spoon shaped nails, it was during a visit when my son had an allergic reaction to tomato sauce. Has anyone heard of this? Little Monster
chriss Report post Posted April 26, 2007 Yes, it can be a sign of aneamia or it can just be one of those things that is passed down through generations but doesn't signify anything. Chrissx
Diamondmask Report post Posted April 26, 2007 Hi I'm new here and just wondering if anyone can help. I have just had access to my sons medical records and in one of them the Gp commented on him having spoon shaped nails, it was during a visit when my son had an allergic reaction to tomato sauce. Has anyone heard of this? Little Monster My daughter (6, autistic, CP, partially sighted, hypertonia, ADHD, pica, SAD + shedloads more) has spoonshaped nails on her toes, just her toes. My son (11,HFA, ADHD, dyspraxia) doesnt, all his nails are fine. My daughters nails are also VERY flakey, she's had iron level tests but her results were fine. They have been like that since she was born. Sarah
