zaman Report post Posted November 23, 2007 This was posted on another ASD forum: John Bercow MP is leading a review of speech, language and communication needs of children and young people for the government, and members of the public are invited to give their views on the issues. John Bercow is the chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Speech and Language Difficulties and a Vice President of Afasic (the national charity helping children and young people with speech and language difficulties and their families). He has a son with a communication difficulty. You can find out more, and give the government your views, by going to: http://www.dfes.gov.uk/consultations/conDe...ultationId=1513 There must be very many people on this group who have struggled to get their child's communication needs met - we all know how hard it is to get speech and language therapy for our children who aren't in special schools - so now is the chance to have our say! The deadline for completing the questionnaire is 18 January 2008.
