Another thing you can do with the Wii is browse the internet. This message was written on my brothers. It's a little fiddly as your using a virtual keyboard however. Have to use the Wiimote to point at the letters you want. Can handle flash too [eg youtube]. Costs a few Wii points to buy the browser however. Also need a wireless network to connect it to the internet. Forgot to say you'll probably want to pick up an SD memory card too. It can play music and pictures from one and save games to it. There is a decent amount of internal storage though.
