Hi I have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. I currently take a few medications such as Ritalin , Concerta XL and Risperidone .I am a little bit confused about my new updated prescription Melatonin at night time .My consultant psychiatrist wrote a letter to my GP about my updated medications but for some medical reason the consultant wanted me to have the Bio Melatonin 3 mg tablets , the letter but also I found out that when the GP changed it it now says on my repeat prescription Melatonin 3 mg capsules at night time ! and i should be taking Bio melatonin 3 mg tablets not the capsules strength , so should I contact my consultant if this isn't right on my repeats ?? sian Posted Image

There will be no difference in strength between tablets and capsules if they are both 3mgs. It's just a different way of presenting the melatonin.
