JeanneA Report post Posted July 23, 2012 (edited) I have yet to discuss this with my son's social worker but intend to when she comes round in September. As I do not know what Glen is entitled to once his education ends next July 2013 Being in a care home I do not who is responsible to get benefits on Glen's behalf. Glen would not be able to sign for anything, fill in any forms etc and if he is still in Coventry he's in an out of county placement so I do not know how I would be able to do this for him on his behalf living in Essex. I presume Glen will need to pay something towards his keep in the carehome (which ever one that it is) from the summer next year and social services pay the rest have I got this right? If anyone has any advice of this subject I would appreciated it hearing it, thank you. Edited July 23, 2012 by JeanneA
