Aeolienne Report post Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) Getting Investment Banking is a uniquely interactive event designed to provide undergraduates with disabilities and long-term health conditions an insight into the true nature of the opportunities available within investment banking and the support that can be provided. With contributions from some of the world’s leading banks, it will help you to develop your understanding of the industry. As well as providing a great insight into the careers on offer in investment banking it will also look at some of the issues that are of particular interest to those with a disability or long term health condition. Attending Getting Investment Banking will help give you the confidence and direction you need to overcome your concerns and make the most of your potential. Link I've registered for the event, albeit as I'm not due to graduate in 2014 or 2015 I may not be eligible. Edited May 20, 2013 by Aeolienne

Aeolienne Report post Posted May 25, 2013 I clicked to register and got this email in reply: Getting Investment Banking is an annual event designed to introduce talented disabled undergraduates to the investment banking industry. The event will take place on the 24th October 2013. We will begin to market Getting Investment Banking again in the summer, and will accept applications from August onwards. To apply, students should s_ubmit a CV and short covering letter explaining their interest in attending. Any applications received before August will not be considered. It's looking increasingly less likely that I will be eligible unless (a) the organisers make some special dispensation for someone who graduated as long ago as 1999 or ( they arrange a separate event for not-recent graduates.
