pookie170 Report post Posted June 29, 2004 Hi All! While browsing the net, I discovered a site about a publication.....kind of a magazine thing, I suppose. It's called the Autism File, and I just wondered if anyone had heard of it? It looks quite good, there's a pull out on English schools for ASD kids..... I just wonder if it's worth purchasing or not? nellie Report post Posted June 29, 2004 Esther I have heard of it but have never read it. I believe our local autistic society used to get it. This is the only information I have on it and that's probably out of date, sorry! The Autism File??.. is published 4 times a year at a cost of 38.50 I've checked out the wesite, it looks quite good. baddad Report post Posted September 4, 2011 I've heard that Mr(!) Andrew Wakefield is a regular contributer. Yerse... that'll be because the husband of the editor runs several businesses connected to dietary intervention/gut problems etc, that Andrew Wakefield's theories pretty much paved the way for Also has loads of ads/endorsements for other 'woo' interventions and stuff and links with lovely 'curebie' organisations like DAN etc. If you type 'Polly Tommey' or even just Tommey into the search engine, you'll finda various threads... For my money, the final post by Asimoin this one says it all very succinctly! http://www.asd-forum.org.uk/forum/Index.php?/topic/26388-scotson-technique-anybody-any-experience/page__p__305106__hl__tommey__fromsearch__1#entry305106 L&P BD
