nellie Report post Posted January 11, 2006 As everyone knows we have a forum Jargon Buster which is related to ASD - to be found at the top right hand corner of the page for anyone who doesn't know. It has been suggested that we start a topic for non ASD related shorthand. So for the benefit of new members and those who find our abbreviations puzzling we have started a list that everyone can add to. DD - dear daughter DS - dear son DH - dear husband IYKWIM - if you know what I mean IMHO - in my honest opinion Over to you............

baddad Report post Posted January 12, 2006 Thanks Gordie, H&dy Shrth& is Baddad's work. Fortunately or should it be unfortunately my mind doesn't work like that. Nellie xx Shush, hen... take it where you can get it (credit that is!) you might not have my rapier wit and devilishly good looks, but we have the same huge head, oh Mekon Leader... Just yours is full of incredibly useful links and information while mine is full of BS - and if anyone needs a breakdown of that, they can go and look in a cowfield!! nellie Report post Posted January 12, 2006 Gordie, When we have enough abbreviations & H&dy Shrth&'s we can put them together and find somewhere for them. Don't tell the techie's though, we'll break it to them gently nearer the time. Did I just hear someone mention the bin!!!
nellie Report post Posted January 12, 2006 What's this BS about credit!!!!???? Don't you mean blame!!!
Gordie Report post Posted January 12, 2006 CHILDREN!! You're both bonkers ... and no, I don't need BS broken down ... either literally or figuratively!! When we have enough abbreviations & H&dy Shrth&'s we can put them together and find somewhere for them. Don't tell the techie's though, we'll break it to them gently nearer the time. Did I just hear someone mention the bin!!! Okay - that arrangement sounds cool to me. James

AnitaCaf Report post Posted March 3, 2017 Could someone enlighten me on some of the slang and abbreviations used on the Parts for Sale Forum? E.g. btt, pm, etc? Thanks
gmboy Report post Posted March 3, 2017 There is no Parts for Sale Forum that I have seen here. Autism doesn't consist of any any "parts for sale". Another intrusion. And a hack too, perhaps, since my direct challenge to you yesterday in the adults only section has disappeared.
