Hi just wanthed to say thankyou to everyone that posted a message for me ,i have had a every hard 2weeks my head is just spining at mo boys are bearing up but its so hard for us to get our heads round it all as my husband had a cornory thrombosics(spelt wrong sorry) blood clot of the heart so it was very sudden and i was at his side working on him till help arrived my eldest son see's angermanagement lady and as my youngest has had it very hard with some nasty boys at school(he has adhd) they are now going to get them in to some bervement counilling god hope you can understand this as my spelling has got worse sorry. ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO LET EVERYONE NO THAT IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR ELIZABETH8459 MYSELF AND MY BOYS COULD NOT HAVE GOT THROUGH ANY OF THIS SHE HAS BEEN A STAR AND I KNOW MY HUSBAND WOULD HAVE BEEN PROUD OF HER AND THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING SHE HAS DONE THANKYOU FOR YOUR KID WORDS Tinyxx

HI, COULD ANYONE TELL ME MORE ABOUT ADD AS MY 14 YR OLD SON HAS JUST BEEN TOLD HIS VERY DEPRESSED AND HAS A VERY LOW SELF ASTEAM . HE HAS BEEN PUT ON ANTI-DEPRESSION TABLETS AND THE DOC SAID HE HAS ADD,I KNOW ALL ABOUT ADHD AS MY 11 YR OLD HAS THAT BUT AM UNSURE WHAT ADD IS XXX TINY XXXX

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between ADHD and Autism my son is 11 and has ADHD and is on 40mgs of Ritalin.Sometimes it seems as though his tablets are not working very well and my friend said he could poss have Autism aswell and help out there to tell the diiff xxxxxxTinyxxxxxx

Hi evertonian, as i said my son is 11yrs old he is on 25mgs of Amitriptyline and 40mgs of Ritalin a day with no side affects hope this helps he is doing really well at the mo and starts high school in september. Tinyxx

Hi guys my 11year old son is on 25mgs of Amitriptyline melatonin was not working but this 1 is he sleeps now and dont wander around the house at 2or 3 in morning he has ADHD and has 40mgs of Ritalin a day aswell xxxTinyxxxx

Hi guys thanks Elizabeth8459 for showing me this site its great to know there are peeps out there that know what its like to have a child with ADHD ,we have tried the concerta xl but he was that badly behaved on it i was in tears ,school was ready to throw him out of school last summer but there was light at the end of the tunnel we have just had his year 6 sats results he went up 3 levels in maths an science and 2 levels in english i was so happy .Now we have to settle him at high school in september ps also my son as just been changed from Melatonin as it was not working and he wandered around the house at 3 in the morning he is on 40mgs of Ritalin throughout the day and 25mgs of Amitriptyline at night life is a little better thanks again for all your help xxxTinyxxxxx

Hi Lisa my son has adhd he is 11 years old his been an earlybird since he was little also he wakes up 2 or 3 in morning an wanders round the house i spoke to my consultant and now he has 25mgs of Amitriptyline tablet about an hr before bed and that seems to help he also in on 40mgs of Ritalin a day he has just had his year 6 sats tests and he past with level 4 i was made up as he has jumped 3 levels since september i hope this helps to know your not on your own with this problem i was told he was to high at night so his brain keeps running on over time xxxxxxxTinyxxxxxx
