    Bah. It's annoying. I can add new stuff by making a new post, but I can't edit the stuff that's already there.

    I am very sorry but for some reason the under 18 group was not given permission to edit their own posts. I have changed this now and you should be able to edit your own posts again.

    Dear All

     

    We now have the possiblity of creating a chatroom on the forum. I know that some people are in favour and some people are opposed to the idea.

     

    For obvious reasons (we can not be online 24 hours a day) the chatroom would be unmoderated and therefore we would not have the tight control that is currently exercised over the forum.

     

    What I am saying is that the chatroom would be open to potential abuse and it would be down to each and every member to follow the rules we have for the forum when using the chatroom.

     

    So I have created a poll for you the forum members to have your say.

     

    A final decision will then be taken by the hosts.

    anyway we had booked this clayavoant and went last night hadnt mentioned anything regarding alicia and she told me that i must follow my instincts and to tell people that if i dont push this and keep on fighting then i might regret this for the rest of my life and if nothing does come of this then i will at least had some peace of mind and to keep on fighting and i will get answers in the next 6 months and some good will come of this she told me school are watching now and mention ed disprixia what ever that is but ther are issues and she mentioned that she dindnt sense danger and consequences and god i could of kissed her as this isreally the first bit of poss news ive had and she told me im tired but things will get bettet and oh yeah im going to have another baby in the next twelve months then i could of cried as 3 enough for me

     

    well im sorry fo moaning but needed to get that of my chest find it easier to write down and express my self than speak cr*p at speelling and punc but who cares im sure you will understand thanks for listning

    I would like to thank you all for being the people that you are, since discovering Krism (which I know is now very passe and almost very last year as its now asd-forum) I have found some really good friends albeit in the cyber world, but the support and advice has been fantastic. I have felt welcomed and unjudged, I have learnt as much as I have been able to share. When I was in doubt you have been here, when I have been down you have been here, you have shared my victories as well as my tears.

     

    Christmas has been a very difficult time in our house since my husband died, 8 years ago on the 18th, a definite life changing moment, and then T's dx another life changing moment. A lot has happened in that time, I have learnt soooo much and felt sooo much. It is now a happier time, I have a wonderful and long suffering partner who has to suffer our mad ways but does it with dignity and the support of his best friend Stella Artois at times, but he is still here after 5 very hard years. T has come through an extremely difficult time in cornwall and now seems to be rediscovering his identity and not being ashamed or down on himself for his differences, quirky is good and with us behind him he will do mighty fine. His big brov has had his moments, but everything I could've ever wanted him to be, compassionate, responsible and aware of his own identity and proud to be who he is.

     

    All in all, thank you for the support and wisdom that you have shared here, understanding my own AS has made my life easier, you are all very special people, and we all do a tremendous job of being the best that we can (oh god full on cliche mode) but I think you get my drift.

     

    Respect and the utmost best wishes for Christmas and 2006.

    Awww! Thanks, everyone! :wub: I had no idea there was anything about my test on here, until I was notified in my e-mail about a PM from mossgrove, telling me to get my ar*e in here! :lol:

    Ah - I wasn't sure if that had appeared on the Calendar or not, coz it wasn't showing for me when I wrote the entry. I only wrote it on Tuesday too. I've just gone to have another look and there it was, but when I tried to edit it, it disappeared again! :wallbash: Maybe a little bug Lufty needs to look into ... or maybe the entries need a moderator's approval before they appear. It's not exactly clear. :unsure:

    Been trying all day to get in but couldn't b/c the site was under repair (yes, I read the post preparing us all! LOL) but then I tired later and it gave an address which didn't work, then the site came up later again as 'site not found'!! :tearful:

     

    In the end I just did a Google search and hey presto, I'm here!!!! :thumbs: But it seems like everyone else has been here all day! Hmm!! :blink:

     

    Thought I'd lost you forever!! :wallbash:

     

    OK, just one thing, had an email saying I got a PM but there's not one here!! Where did it go??? :wub: LOL

    I've found the problem - It should be resolved shortly :)

     

    Hi Everyone

     

    We have been busy on this issue and think we have come up with a solution to users bookmarking various parts of the www.krism.org.uk site.

     

    Now whenever you try to access anywhere on the www.krism.org.uk site you are redirected to the home page which then re-directs you to the www.asd-forum.org.uk home page after ten seconds.

     

    Do not worry if you are confused - We have tested it and it appears to work but please try it for yourself

    What size does it have to be?

    Is there a specific theme to it (humans..) ,or can it be abstract and random?

     

    What is the closing date for getting images in?

    There is no specific theme for the logo.

     

    The image should be no taller than the blue bar at the top of the forum and no more than 300 pixels wide.

     

    The closing date will be 24th December 2005 so we can implement the new logo on Christmas Day.

    Dear All

     

    Now that we have a new forum (and slightly changed forum colour scheme) the hosts have decided we should have a new logo to go at the top left hand side of the forum.

     

    So get ready with your electronic paintbrush and enter our competition to design a new logo for the forum.

     

    The only stipulation is that the logo must fit in with the new forum colour scheme.

    Dear All

     

    On behalf of the hosts and moderators, may I welcome you to our new home :D

     

    We really hope the new hosting arrangements and upgraded software will provide a stable and reliable home for the forum.

     

    This is obviously a MAJOR change for the forum and initial teething problems will be inevitable, but worthwhile for the long term gain.

     

    The new platform and forum software gives us greater flexibility and functionality, which we plan to introduce once the forum has settled down a little, for example the introduction of a chat room.

     

    Your patience during this period of upheaval is greatly appreciated.

     

    Please use this thread to post any issues or suggestions you have for the forum.

     

    Finally, please accept this forum as our krismas present to you all ! :bat:

    Hi everyone

     

    Thank you to the introduction from Kris and also the warm welcomes you have already posted on this thread.

     

    I have known Kris and Elefan personally for many years and have a keen interest and real life experience of Aspergers & ASD.

     

    I am not sure the term "employed" is technically correct however rest assured I will do everything I can to keep the forum up and running when Kris is unavailable.
