  5. this is tricky to explain hope u understand it as i have 2 sons and my first one is the one dx asd how can i tell what things he should be able to be doing at 6 and a half at school we are getting homework -and ive noticed its stepped up a gear and now things are showing so much more at home-yet cause im bending over backwards to help him understand hes going in class not showing it as much its time homework-o clock ive just spent a nightmare 30 mins about it all it kicked off with the teacher said we have to use a toy clock to work it out i said it didnt matter we have the kitchen clock-argument entails as its NOT the same ###### clock as the teacher said ect ect i sometimes feel its so complicated to explain to his teacher i dont know how to word it or begin...ive wrote it in his home school book -but it looks like moaning tbh and it sort of reduces it down really -when really its like full scale problem hes on school action -no statement .... so i have no idea really of what comes naturally to a 6 half year old compared to my son-if u see what im trying to get at........ or is there any written stuff which would explain this better that i should hand to teacher

  13. well im glad im not alone in this............my son is 6 and a half its always been a prob but seems to have got worse...........-ive told school about it and hospital -no advice really -i have a visual timetable but half the time he wont do it...........he waits till im in his room and prmpting him to get dressed-then this causes the meltdowns... im trying not to rush too -as it just esclates and he carrys it on in the car to school ect....so im just going take my time from now on-the school are aware so if we are late then so be it.........
  14. hi in a similar position myself had camhs appointment today with my 2nd son-intially i got him there because i thought he was hyperactive but they dont agree but they are saying about autistic spectrum traits ect some stuff he does ....but they are going discuss it with others to rule out if its learnt behaviour of my 6 year old son heads in mess tonight -going through it all in my head....so draining all of it im used to been made to feel its me trouble is she couldnt send me on parenting course cause ive done them all already so im booked in to see behavioural person next week to cover both my sons. but i know how you feel -about feeling its like made to feel like its you.....best thing to do is not let it get to you....after all you have had it all before so you are experianced in what your dealing with,so i wouldnt worry what they think -just keep pushing . rq xxx

  17. Most people do see improvement with Epsom salts because the form of sulfur in the Epsom salts is already sulfate and readily available to the body. What are Epsom salts and how do they work? Epsom salts are magnesium sulfate. Salts are just molecules that form because the parts have opposite electrical charges that bind together. Magnesium has a positive charge. Sulfate has a negative charge, and performs all sorts of unique biological functions. The two elements dissociate in solution (English translation: break apart and separate in liquid). Epsom salts are available at most local grocers or health food stores, or inexpensively in bulk at agricultural supply stores. The magnesium and sulfate in the salts are absorbed into the body through the skin. Because the sulfur is already in the sulfate form, it does not need to be converted like other forms of sulfur do. Sulfate is thought to circulate in the body up to about nine hours. Any Epsom salts left on the skin may continue to be absorbed as long as it is still on the skin, offering continuous ?timed-released? input into the bloodstream ? like medications given through skin patches. Many people on a typical ?modern? processed diet are very deficient in magnesium as well, which Epsom salts also supply in a highly available form. Main effects of insufficient magnesium are hyperness, irritability, anxiety, and muscle twitching or spasms. So the salts may provide two-way assistance.
  18. well ive just bought a box bathed both boys in it tonight, seemed to relax them alot....read some good stuff about them....its the sulphur that is took in through the skin that helps.... going keep at it ...see how it goes...
