I KNOW WHERE U COMING FROM my son is same in fact both my sons are like this,one more than the other i cant get through a day without needed paracetamol for my head or i get sore throats from telling them the same instructions-it honestly is that bad i feel like i talk to the wall my son cant see things under his nose and also will go everywhere but ,,,,the place something is in RESULTS in me doing nearly everything for him you should see us trying to get out through the front door we r like the 3 stooges I GIVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS on every thing,shoes,coat,stand near door ,ect..................... and i get the 50 questions as to why we should do this then i get a full scale row its so mentally draining i only ever get some results from adopting a militery style operation and commands-with no ifs and buts-i ignore it till we get through the task in hand hence the headaches p.s my sons father is colour blind-so am thinking they r too -its down on there records-but i dont think they actually been tested !

i got through at 9.2o this morning -getting 2 lots of ?30-one in jan other towards april or she said ?60 altogether at one time. i tryed other numbers to and they didnt really know of it and started saying they will send me forms out in post. i stuck at it and got through on the phone number that was first posted on here .as i didnt trust the folk to sort it.

i actually got through to a lady tonight got the number of site saying house.uk[i think] its to do with british gas anyway shes putting the form through she said with info on my account.this was at 11.30 ish tonight if anyones trying but i will also ring tomorrow just to make sure as i know these things get misplaced easy

not quite sure whats going on[as im tired] but just wanted to add i love this forum and i only joined this autumn and its been the most helpfull thing in my life regarding me and my un dx son. there has been many times iv felt like giving it all up-but you guys give me the strength to carry on. you are my light in the dark. me and my son were like lost souls before i found this forum and i love everyone on it,and am thank full for all the hard work that makes it as good as it is

me too have this prob im only able to take him to my parents and both my sisters as they are well informed of it all[in fact one my sisters has son with AS and tourettes and ocd-shes the one who understands the most] my other sis is very chilled person so she can ride it my parents know it all too well but anyone else i cant -as like you said it looks like naughty uncontrolled behaviour i am just trying to educate my sons step sister on it all as well-she lives with her mum -but have same dad[although my son dont see his dad] cause she will have him sometimes and shes 16-but really have to drum it in about how he is as her mum thinks he will grow out of it and its just naughtyness its so hard explaining it that half the time its not worth the trouble so i am a recluse alot LOL we live a hermit life

i got 2 lots of vouchers for beauty clinic/type place where im going book some massages to release my stress-cant wait some cds,jewelery,and chocs and bath stuff.

all children are still linked with the spirit world-some more than others-alot of us lose this as we get older its nothing to worry about.

i have bought an excercise machine but not yet took it out off box lol i like pc to to take my mind of things but i have baths most nights cause all the stress goes in my neck have booked myself in for aromatherapy massages in jan cant wait

my son is same nowadays i can just about manage it only if i tell him we r going to one place then straight back real quick,if i side track or try to add other things in to do say pop into shop i hadnt said about -then he starts crying and moaning and wineing till you have no choice but to head back home,he stands in street saying take me back home now,then starts hitting me ect,,,,, it is like being a prisoner-now hes at school i do get some break,but as you say holidays u cant get away from it. also noone else wants the burden -find it hard to get folk to look after him. my younger son suffers too cause hes willing to do stuff and 4 year old holds him back aswell now

my son also will do this,he runs and opens doors then runs back and shuts them,drives me nutts. he seems to get great enjoyment from it too.

ksasnic just saw your post and it struck a chord. i had bacterial meningitis and septacemia at 19 i nearly died from it can understand how u feel i became phobic of people breathing near me or sneezing ect,,,,, and always panic when im ill or my boys are ill i was told by drs i had flu,gratfully my parents called out a dr who came out to me and took one look and rushed me to hospital,i was on deaths door i will never forget it.

so sorry for you its easy done with all the stuff we have to think of-dont blame yourself i often lock my car keys in the car on car parks and have left my purse in postoffice. its hard to think straight . hope u r ok :

my son is exactly the same its a nightmare i have to let him get through doors first open the door first or all hell breaks loose i took him swimming once and we had major scene at the automatic doors because he wanted them to open just for him there was a huge meltdown and we returned to car took 20 mins then tryed again took a further 20 mins waiting till no one else was going through it has now merged into all sorts of situations-and really gets me all hyped up at the same time-knowing what is coming next

i just was reading manchester evening news and noticed an article about man who killed that girl called lauren from leigh it said he was dx with AS has anyone else seen it?

know i shouldnt let this get to me-most times i ignore it but he came home from school saying everybody knows your not nice he thinks im a horrible mum i know its because of all the arguments we have-as he trys to oppose everything i ask him to do ect..... im aFRAID I WOULDNT BE SO NEGATIVE if he wasnt constant pushing me,and trying to control me. its a catch 22 its worried me-cause if he told outsiders this it would look bad on me without them relising what hard work he is and why things come to this i try telling him this and the fact that im not too bad a mum really and hes looked after well--but he just laughs and repeats that im not just wanted to know im not alone with this!!!!! cause its upset me a bit today

i watched it.it could of been better in parts BUT i think it was good because its making folk more aware of as/adhd/autism. i think it explained the lad with AS well -showed some good examples of how wearing it can be. have to say i did cry in parts ,when she was sat on the stairs crying[sure we have all been there],and the looking out the window at the other children anything that highlights autism is a good thing i say more people need to learn from it
