As some of you know me and Clair have (like many of you ) had our fair share of ups and downs,but tonight whilsted driving back to night I heard the most arrigant"B" come on the radio and say about the mother in Humberside saying that the way she did things was the cowards way out. I am at least grateful that we all have this site to rant and show others that we as parent have got a place where we can say how we feel and get some of the problems of our minds. I have learnt some thing today about the people of this country, "speak now and judge later". Had this poor lady who must have been at wits's end had found us all I would not be posting this . I hope that the ars**ole who rang the radio show tonight never has to witness what we as parents ( and the kids ) do on a day to day basis, Sorry to rant off but it is for this reason I have put this.

I can sympathise with the rectal probe thing, it didnt make my day but it made Clair's day. She had not laughed so much in ages. There is me laying on the bed with a spinal problem and black hairy feet, (due to brand new pair of socks where the the fibres had decided to divorce the socks and marry my feet) whilst the doc is shoving his fingers up me ring ole. The worst bit was he had a name similar to Mr. Merry Man. So we shall call that highlight of Clair,s day.

Loulou,you have not entered a contract to purchase this car till you have seen it, they asked you for a deposit to secure your veiwing of the afor said motorcar.If you do not want/like it tell them you have canceled you card details, The sales guy will very ,very quickly respond to you as you where not present at the time the card transaction took place

Have you connected the drives the right way round.:-Hdd as primary1(IDE 1) and the CD-roms as secondry is (ide2) . The count(Ithink you are suggesting theLED lights on the front) M/B on an ASUS/ ABIT an 8 flash is a inncorrect set up .If you are still having problems please click my link to the scream ,We will help. Lauren,It is sad that you are being p***ed about like this .So Next time you go into school and ask for a form to be filled in , Try this Make sure you a bit of scrap paper/old envolope Look at your watch or a clock and note the time(Make a point of looking). Then ask if the Head is in school,and again note the time that you asked. Find a nice comfy seat and sit down(dont ask if it is ok to take a seat,thats what they are there for) Now it is at this point( may be after a few minutes) someone will ask"Can I help you" to which you reply(nicely)"No you can not,but could you tell me your name", then say"but the Head can". Still following me. Now look again at the watch/clock and again note the time. If you have been there let say 15 mins again ask to speak to the head again.If they say He/She is unavailable ask "Doing what Please",You will be told some b*ll s**t story like "attending some school issuse".You then say I have been waiting to see/speak to the head and I am noting down the time I have been here and I would now like the name(s) of the school govenors as I am going to send them a letter of complaint. Then move back to the seat and sit down(note the time) and start to sing?whistle or drum your fingers/feet, this will arouse some attention,and if it does not sing a little loud(as the Head is a little deaf)or a bit faster with the drumming. Now if they still do not attend to you get up and pace a little. The point you have to make clear is you are still here and need to speak to them.Believe me you will get to see the head, BUT DO NOT GIVE UP or get angry. If none of the above works at least you have made a valid attempt to see the head. Go home and write the letter to the head and remind Him/her that you have sent a copy to the school govenors. Dont get angry get even

Anne ,yes he is statemented and the school has been allocated the funds.

To All of you fantastic people who have read my post and you have given me the strenghth to fight on.I will not back down as I feel that if the schools accept your child and then later they try to say "well we did not realise how bad they where" or "they have more problems than we thought" , yes these are lame excuses and if this happening all over the UK ,then I think that the Heads of these schools need to themselves return to be re-educated on a new level. When I challanged my son headmaster yesterday he started to give me some DAMM silly excuses,to which I asked him to stop and think about this :- 1. He choose to accept my son into his school. 2. He has been allocated funding to assist my son's education>(I had to remind him this was for my son and not the school) 3.He had the right to refuse him into a main stream school. It was when I pointed the third one out to him his reply was " I could not refuse him,the LEA would not allow that" to which I said if he had looked more closely at his previous school reports he would of had a better insite to his needs. All I can say now is "LET THE BATTLE COMMENCE" Regards to you all E=mc2

Thanks viper ,Clair is finding this all damm hard and so as I have said it has fallen on to me more(and so it should)to sort the school out and the CDC. I have just sat and re read the letter the school has sent us (at my request) as to why our son was formally excluded (formally being the operative word) and neither me or Clair have agreed to this arangment of half a day at school or shorten days ,but the school feel that this is the way it is going to happen.....Uh NO .I have just typed a letter to the school to tell them that he will attend full-time classes as of today and until a meeting with all concern has taken place I will be bringing him in. What has P**ded me off about this is I intructed the school 3 weeks ago to ring me on my home telephone or mobile phone to discuss any problems with my son before taking any action(which the school secretary has tried and it worked).If the schools can not understand simple instrutions then no parent or child stands a chance to try and make things work. Well done , I read your post and found it is fantastic that you told him to sit in the class and see for himself.This is an area that the man/lady who is head of the school forgets to go to ,a level at which the children have to understand from. I have only just joined and I feel that the heads of the schools never really go in to the classroom to see how the chilren are being taught but often sit in their offices and judge what is really happening .
