    seat belt

Wondering has anyone any info on the following... my 4 year old asd frequently takes his belt of he hates being restrained on a typical 10 minute journey i could have to stop 7 times to strap him in again... i contacted my gp today to ask for an exemption certificate now I did explain i would not be using this to drive around with him out of his seatbelt (always preaching seat belt safety after a serious accident where only my seat belt saved me), but only wanted it incase he did get out and the police were stopping and saw him dont want penalty points fine etc etc, they have said they cannot issue one as he is a child and should be in his belt all the time! Anyone any suggestions!
  4. Hye and welcome This forum is great for support and answers.. sorry i havent any suggestions but I couldnt just read and run but im sure there will be lots to follow... just wanted to say I have 3 special needs kids (as i call them) 16 adhd 6 aspergers and almost 5 asd and lots of other things lol find it hard to get them all calm to and realy live in a crazy house spend most of time shouting over the top of them so I will be watching closely for suggestions, on the subject of a possible diagnosis of you're other son, I said the same about my 6 year old we didnt want him diagnoised as we felt we couldn't cope with it, when he started to have problems at school we realised we weren't being fair to him but at that stage we were ready to face it and went through the diagnostic process! Do you get any help at home? Love Sharon xx
  5. hye all Some advice needed! 4 year old almost 5 diagnoised asd has other problems also is driving me insane and i mean realy insane! at school he is as quiet as a mouse he has learning difficulties and is in an asd specific class cahms reckon he completely shuts down when he goes to school so he can cope with it, the minute I lift him the screaming starts, every small thing causes a crazy meltdown! Energy levels are at an all time low hes at school from 9 to 2 at 2.20 its as if hes never been away Any suggestions help needed x
  6. Agree with all you have said.... my healer is actually a qualified counsellor too and we talked over some issues id been carrying for a long time after these were realised or energys repaired not sure but done the trick anyway.... I didnt think it would work either but thought I'll give it a try as my next avenue was to go to gps for medication for myself to cope thank god I didnt need it.... " Dont knock it till you've tried it" xx
