    new here

Hi and welcome to the forum
  2. This made me really angry When my younger son Cameron was in nursery they had a mini-kickers football event and the youung man that came, he was only in his twenties at the time, he only had one arm his other one was off below the elbow no-one had any issues with it as far as im aware and the kids loved him. As far as i know he is still working with the children and a lovely young man he was.

    Early menopause

Hope no-one minds me posting if so feel free to delete. Im 39 years old and i tink im peri-menopausal i was at the doctors last week and got a blood test and today the doctors receptionist called me earlier on ad said that my hormone levels are raised so ive to go back next week for another blood test to see what this shows up. I know theres something not right but nothing majorlly so im just really hormonal and bad tempered. Im in a menopause forum but is not a very busy one so thought id ask here if anyone has ever had this.
  8. He has been attending for nearly a year and he loves it. They dont discriminate with special needs which is great and they are really good with him. He didnt belong anywhere before he started this and i just thought there must be something my boy can do. Everyone accepts him for who he is and for the first time in his life he is not being ridiculed. It means that he is now officially a senior cadet and has more responsibility by helping out with the junior cadets as much as he is able to. We are so proud of him

Hi Denise welcome to the forum. I know what you mean about your child looking the same as everyone else but being 'different' its so hard i think for children like ours as they have no obvious disability that can be seen.
