My son Sean was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in January 2009. He will be 6 years old in May.

I also have a daughter named Lily who will be 2 in July.

I worry a lot about how Sean will cope as he gets older and starts to notice he is not like many other children. I also worry about how Lily will be affected as she gets older.

Our biggest stumbling block so far has been family. Either they burry their heads in the sand and refuse to see Sean has some difficulties or blame it all on us as parents.
