ive started my lessons with bsm,my driver is brill int he four lessons(2hrs each)ive done hill starts.reversing,duel carriageways,roundabouts,meeting traffic,turning left and right.when he chats its normally for ten mins where i have drive to the place and again after lesson has finished.his is great so not bsm drivers are like that. you get 12 hours then you have 2 pass your theory(which i did last friday.first time) and then a further 27 before your practial,my driving instructer is going to hold a couple of hours back so if i fail i still have to start paying at a reduced rate(?17 per hour).if you dont get on with yr instructer you can change.from first being given the funded to when bsm called to book first lesson was about 4 wks they also give you five books and a dvd which helps loads to pass your theory and hazard tests. driving instructer is really helpful and works round when i can do it cause of the children and holidays and is adiment he get me through my test.

ive just got my child psychology diploma and currently working on a child day care diploma(ive also got 7 gcse @ e grade,didnt take it seriously back then) and i also want to take a pc course,any ideas what jobs i could get @ mo with what ive already got please

have u a usb hub connected to the back of your pc? it takes extra usb devices such has a web,modem,just gives u extra usb ports for exterial divices like the above for example. if they has been a power surge you may be better disconnecting so it doesnt spark etc then it wont work and by disconnecting it may settle the current flow inside so you can use again later on after a few hours.hope that helps.just going by what mine does.

what steps do you?the process to start for statementing? you can start the process yourself you know.they are loads of peeps that give advice on that.Is your child on scholl action etc and have you any ieps?i would just kept asking in a polite way how they are getting on and how your child is doing on the pscales etc.good luck.

although ive max points ive been on the list now for nearly five years.they havent any suitable houses for me,the ones they have offered where to small and they have now discounted them as even being offered so im looking round in the private sector again(in private at more) its looking more like thats what il be doing,meet a lovely landlord whom owes over 50 houses and is currentyly looking for a 4bed for me in the area i want to stay in as the two he showed me just wont big enough.so i have to call him in a month to see how he got on.i have two boys in the big room but no room for my other son who sleeps with me at mo cause of the room size and the way my ds2 is.its a nightmare.the girls room i have just enough room for bunkbeds and thats it.chest of draws wont fit or a decent size wardrobe.you literally open door and have about a foot to move about in. ideally i would like to put ds2 in his own small room ,the girls in another and ds1 and ds3 in another room,even if i had a dining room i could make into a bedroom for me.i still need a big kitchen to put an seven seater table and chairs in.just a nightmare at mo that will only get worse as the kids grown unless i can find another house.

lou lou you saying your sons room is 7x9,my two daughters room is 6x7 so you can imagine how small that is.

if you are going to go down that path you only have within a year to do it from your first complaint to the school.There are certain things they cannot investigate. they can investigate maladministration by or on behalf of the council. you have been caused injustice by the maladministration you have given the council chace to look into it and reply to you. they cant investigate something you knew about more than 12 mths before you wrote to us or councillor something you could appeal about to a tribunal or gov minster or court something you have already appealed to a tribunal or gov minster or have taken to court against the council personnel matters the internal manement of schools and colleges(including conduct,teaching,discipline) but can look at some aspects of the provision required by a childs statement of sen. maladministration might mean: the council made a mistake took to long to do something did not follow its own rules or the law broke its promises treated you unfairly gave you wrong information did not make a decision in the right way ie did not follow the right procedures when making a decision did not consider all relevent information wrongly considered irrelvent information. injustice: did not get the service or benifit you were entitled to or there was a delay before you got it suffered financial loss were put to alot of avoidable expense,trouble or inconvience or suffered avoidable uncertainty or stress. if the injustice was slight then it may not be investigatedor if the council has taken or willing to take satisfactory action to resolve it. when they investigate we may: may need to get information from the council examine the councils files meet you and council offcers or other people we have legal power to get evidence from council and other people. the result after investigation may be: apoligise to you pay you compensation take action or make a decision that it should of done before improve the procedures so similar problems do not reoccur how long does it take: it could take months to collect enough information to reach a fair decision but you will be kept informed. hope that helps any of you guys thinking of going that route that was out the leaflet the ombudsman sent me.

i have no help mostly,im on my own has husband and i couldnt get on.my friend now and again will have one of my twins but thats normally the well behaved twin so i still have to contend with four.im not looking forward to twins starting school september has il have all 5 to get back from school run,ds2 is at his worst at that time of day.i to am thinking about respite but not sure how i go about it?

hi ive just noticed that some of you have complained to the ombudsman.maybe some of you have read my previous posts over the year about my ds2 previous school senco. i went through all the relevant challenges to complain and was recommanded by the sectretary of state for education to go the ombudsman in which i sent a letter. the ombudsman phoned me on friday after it looking not to hopeful that id get anyway and he has confirmed i have grounds for a complaint of education neglect and that he was compiling a letter to me stateing that. i did think during the year that i was being palmed off to diffrent departments and alot of red tape but now there is light at the end of the tunnel. i sent a copy also of the report by his peaditriction stateing that he would be a sen child which she sent to various peeps including the school. just to recap my complaint to you all the said school in question even acknowledge that they know there was a problem before ds2 started ds2 was there for seven months and he didnt have an iep or a school action.his new school in the same amount of time had him on school actionplus and various other sen measures that he needed.The said school in question even said on a prents evening ,they couldnt understand a word he was saying and that he was so far behind they didnt have time for him. they had sen provisions but didnt use any for ds2 and the senco is proved to be an unqualified one but a qualified teacher of over twelve years.(mp found that out). so now i hope for one i get an apology for all the stress they caused ds2 and for two either retrain this woman or replace her with one that is qualified for the remaining sen children within that school. so fingers crossed you guys.

im like you jlp ive max overcrowd points and gave housing ass infortion on ds2 asd as well for medical points.ive been on the list for nearly five years now but they keep saying they havent any properties to suit my needs in the areas i would like.i have two diffrent neighbours keep giving me grief at mo so deseparte to move.last week i look a another 3 bed but it was just to small but the landlord turns out to know my sisters husband well and said he will look for a four bed to buy then he rent it to me and to give him a few weeks to do that so im keeping my fingers crossed that il may be moving within next few months.(he owns 50 let houses) i had just missed a 4 bed he let out the week before.i will miss my house as ive lived here nine years but it just not big enough.

i dont take all five of mine out either,i dont mind if i havent ds2(asd) as i can cope with ds1(adhd) and the others but ds2 just cant cope going out.he gets very stressed my ex husband takes ds1 and ds2 out on a saturday but he finds it very difficult to cope with ds2.ive had a really bad week with ds2 and that included him doing a runner on way home from school where i couldnt find him for over half hour.im thinking of finding out about respite for him but not sure if for one im doing the right thing or will it make him worse and for two would he qualify. we are literally running our lives round him and its so unfair on the other children.any advise would be welcome.

However, although some may be autistic, I doubt that most are really ill. Some may just be clever and bookish while others are simply suffering from a peculiarly modern kind of neglect and adapting their behaviour to cope. There are no perfect parents. But it must surely be the worst kind of damage to label your child with an ?ism? when there is nothing wrong except that you?ve not done a great job at child rearing. With effort, you can often remedy your own failings, but once you place your child in the hands of the ?ism? authorities, who knows where they may end up? For the sake of all our children, let?s treat these ?shock, horror? autism statistics with extreme care. if that was the case,then why are 3 of my 5 children fine and the other two being adhd,asd.they are all being brought up the same. it took my ds1 to be dx after he was five(so three yrs) and with my ds2 he has taken for a dx five years. dla i faught for nearly a year with being turned down twice and with the support of the autistic trust at the appeal finally won,not to mention all the paperwork that was involved and resulting in the dla saying sorry for putting us through it all.all i can say is another unqualified no gooder.

thanks paul ive just called them, the cheque is for outings/hoilday and they had forgotten to put in form for driving lessons so are sending it out to me today. i didnt expect either the additional money for outings or the argos card with credit. so both a real bonus,im looking 4ward to driving and being able 2 get bout with 5 children but im also very nervous.

can i ask how do they set up with bsm,do they send vouchers? as ive just got cheque and argos card thing,but letter just mentioned driving lessons but didnt go into details so not sure if cheque is for driving lessons or not.

ds has played up all wkend,meltdowns etc.think its cause it was easter then bk 2 sch then bank holiday mon then bk @ sch and bakers day thurs.poor kid dont know if he coming or going.

im very lucky in that respect that my close friends totally understand ds asd in fact they have done they own research into it and attended appointments with me.with family they are very good one of my older sisters has an asd ds as well so that really helps. it isnt you it is ignorance on thier part mayb get some info together for them to read or take them along to your childs appointments it all helps to deal with asd and better for your child. <'>

the child tax disabilitie applies to any rate of dla but there is a diff if you are on low/middle it 30 pounds extra pw and on high it is more

ive just complained,my ds isnt on any meds for his adhd although it was recommanded,we cope with it and he is above adverage for all his subjects at sch and a lovely little boy,he certainly doenst sit in front of the box he goes to his performing arts sch on a sat and has auditioned for casting directors such as pippa hall that cast the kids for the new narnia and nanny mcphee and nina gold that cast for rome on bb2 along with his motorcross biking and skateboarding etc.

hiya i had family fund came out to me on easter monday,she meet all my children and suggested as its the biggest payment i would get from them then i should have driving lessons,she rather pushed me into it lol so thats what il be doing omg ive been having driving lessons on and off for 15 years lol,i guess this time il have no choice but do it and do my first test.
