  1. weightogo used to advertise on ebay.
  2. Im interested to find out if anyone here has found it to help with ear wax problems?
  3. Agreed his protocol has meant i can do without my colorimeter specs and im less at risk of becoming crippled with ME/CFS again!
  4. That report is grossly exaggerated, he only died as he was being treated with the wrong type of chelation. EDTA is very dangerous and andrew cutler recommends against using EDTA. IV chelation is out also under the Andrew Cutler protocol. If anyones interested in the type of chelation i have been doing for over a year, PM me and i can send you the link to the yahoo group. Andy cutlers basic recommendations are; 1, remove all metal fillings from your mouth and replace with white ones 2, remove all tinned food and shellfish from the diet (contain high mercury levels) 3, resolve to never put mercury fillings (the free ones unfortunately ) into your mouth again 4, a minimum of 4 days later you can start chelation. It is recommended to start with small doses, now i use 25mg DMSA every 4 hours for literally 3 days and 2 nights. This is called a round. At 1st i could only manage 12.5mg DMSA (had to split the capsules). But after the side effects of the rounds eased i went up to 25mg DMSA. The same dose has to apply throughout the round. That means at night as well. DMSA grabs the metals from the body and allows you to excrete them. It is very good for chelating lead which as removed will get replaced by calcium and other bone minerals that should be there! The idea is that after 4 months you can do ALA rounds, 12.5mg is all i can manage and ive been doing this almost a year. ALA has to be taken 3 hourly, except at night where you can increase to 4 hourly again for 3 days and 2 nights. If you can get it prescribed by a DAN! doctor then you can have DMPS suppositories which need to be taken every 8 hours. i wish i could have tried these at 1st as it can get difficult to get up at night to take my dose. i keep my medicine by my bed ready poured out, i just need to feel for a tablet, swallow it then change the alarm time on my phone. Chelation can be safe if done using a recommended protocol like andy cutler. i have been on his frequent dosage chelation list for over a year now and people who've been damaged by alternative protocols often come on this list. i had one setback at the beginning due to not recognising i had a filling in my mouth at the time. i have to pay nearly £100 for every required filling but i feel the long term gains from these costs are worth it. i wish it was illegal to use anything but white fillings in teeth! Alexis
  5. Until i chelated for a year i needed these specs. i no longer have severe light sensitivity that i used to and the ME/CFS has completely gone away!
  6. Yes that's the book i used as well and i think i found similar evidence in other gf/cf books for autism.
  7. There is truth in this, if you take out one addiction then another milder addiction will become worse. This only applies to those addicted to gluten and casein proteins in the 1st place though.
  8. i dont understand why people wish to spend money on unnecessary testing? Wouldnt trying the diet be the best test of all?
  9. Welcome to gluten free living Yes it does happen this fast, within 4 days (of removing milk) my buzzing head problem had gone, a week later i could remember things better, 8 months later and i was no longer experiencing constipation, belly pain and knew i needed a poo quicker. Alexis
  10. hello Was wondering how many people on here have tried the gluten and dairy free diet for a year and what their responses to it were? if you attempted the diet for less than a year and it didnt work please let me know how long you were off gluten (recommended 8 months at least) and milk (recommended 4 days at least). If your kid/you got worse on the diet, did you try supplements as well? Alexis
  11. He is getting a high from his food choices if they are predominantly gluten and dairy containing. i studied selective eating as a part of my paper "diet and autism: is there a link?" Nothing except changing my diet helped with constipation which used to be constant and severe. Now i rarely get it.
  12. i did and i got some hot flour mix coming out. Alexis
  13. The urine analysis arent as reliable as you think. i went gluten free without the tests as i knew the only real test is trying the diet. Wondering if i could try the IBS route as an improvement on the diet requiring gf/cf products? Alexis
  14. Thanks tally, i found a victoria sponge cake mix in one tescos but not my home tescos
  15. Personally i would cut out the dairy and see if any of her behavioural problems improve. Also see if your kid seems less full of catarrrh. If her behaviour improves after 4 days then keep it out of her diet. She could be addicted to milk/gluten or both. Alexis
  16. i am an aspie and i took dairy out of my diet quite easily. It depends on what your kid currently eats that contains milk? ive heard of PKU and the best way to treat it is to avoid all aspartame like products. Also other products containing phenalayline (sp?) have to be avoided. High fat diets (ketogenic) have helped some epileptics. Alexis
  17. i had severe aggression on the H&B brand of fish oils.
  18. The only way to find out is to try and contact the company. What does google say if you try and find "gluten free oats; UK" ? Alexis (gave up on waiting for a reply from an irish company).
  19. Hello ive been on the diet sometime now but for some reason i cannot get my free from foods at tescos prescribed for me. was wondering how i could convince the doctor this would be a good idea? Alexis
  20. i have found them to be very helpful to my dyspraxic (undiagnosed) symptoms.
  21. ive got mild eczema behind one ear and on my legs. i had it really bad to begin with but all of a sudden it went away. ive heard an egg intolerance can cause ezcema as well as lack of fish oils in the diet. Alexis
  22. Hello Provamel used to do a vanilla flavoured rice milk that tasted good but they've changed the packaging again! If you are gluten free as well as milk free DONT go for rice dream as that contains barley proteins. Alexis
  23. i hear it runs in families, my cousin from Australia has celiac. your mate Alexis
  24. Allergy testing wouldnt show up gluten or casein addiction. Alexis
  25. Why is it meaningless to stop something that could help your long term health? i had to literally give up gluten and milk to save my sanity. The sodium benzoate in my risperidone was turning me psychotic (something that wont happen without the risperdal). i went on the gluten, dairy, msg, aspartame, benzoate free diet 4 years ago and this has opened up a lot of opportunities for me. Within 4 days of giving up dairy the cravings for it will have gone. Unfortunately it takes 8 months for the gluten to leave the system. Alexis
