hello there, we have a 6 yr old boy with hfa/asd, 4 mounths ago our son became very very very violent he hurts us all the time and smashes up the house daily. we have tried every thing from shouting, calm rooms, looks on doors, traffic lights, rewards, punch bag, soft corner. every thing and any thing. we have beged cambs to re look at our cases and aftre mounths of letters and phone call from our doctor grandperants and us they have finnally said we are on there waiting list, but wont get seen till dec/jan so we need to go private befor our son or us get seriously hurt. we have no idea what has chaged for our little boy or where this new found anger has come from. he is an only child and im a stay at home mum and we love him to pieces but can not live like this. we are scared to talk to him, he wont leave the houes at all not even for choclate we have no clue what to do. is any one in this situation? has any one seen a privart psychiatrist or a asd specalis? or using social services if so can you recomend any? thankyou for your time xxx

We are having to look for a school in milton keynes after our school told us last week that there school was not the place for our son in sept [i no she not aloud to do this but we have had 2 years of fighting with our son school and can not do it any more.] So we are desperately looking for another school. hello, we just had a look around potterpury school for asd boys [rudolf steiner] does any one boys go there? has any one heard any thing about it? it was an amazing school with a what seems a brillent out look but there was one thing that but me off. in my visit [1 hour 45 mins] i saw 2 different teachers screem in the face of to different boys. it was more than shouting to the point were i told the person who was showing us around. she tryed to explain that as the boys get older that souting [sreeming] at them is ok, but it just dosent sit right with me. can any one help? thank you, we are going to view the walnuts on friday, and 5 others in the week. our school has said there is no place for our little man in sept so have 3 weeks to find new school, like life isnt hard already. thaks again

hello there, i have a 6 year old boy, at xmas we got told that he has hfa. his anger towards us and life has got really bad. we have no clue when it is about to come or how bad it is going to be. every thing and any thing can start him of , from hurting himself to droping a ball to us asking him to do something. last friday he came at my husband with a hammer and this week end we have 4 new holes in our walls where he was so out of controll he picked up his golf clubs and wouldnt stop. can any help? we have no clue what to do, we have tryed the storys, shutting the door, taking stuff away and even smacking him bum, you name i think we have done it. any help or advice will be great, thanks
