About Me
Hi all!
I'm a speech/language pathologist and also a sensory information therapist from Holland.
Eventhough I work with loads of kids with sensory problems, it took me till this year to see the bigger picture ;-)
I'm officially an Aspie since last month..
I enjoy books, since last year writing one for first time in my life..
Furthermore I enjoy my work, for it is with kids and letting them play and learn, I also like cooking
(and eating -vegetarian since a few months-), gardening, I should make more time for drawing and sculpting soap stone..
Since last month I also know I have a sleeping disorder called cataplexy, which means my muscles laps when I laugh suddenly..
Cataplaxy is a part of Narcolepsy (but luckily I do not have the complete disorder, thus I am still totally alert, though my muscles
of my eye lids, neck, mouth and arms can go limb for the time being when I laugh..)
I've heard from the neurologist that it's rather common, the combo of AS and sleeping disorders.. I haven't met any Dutch people though..
So I'm extending my search to abroad..
