My oldest son who is now 20 used to call his Uncle Gary, Bumber Gaz and his dummy was a fee four( called that because he always had to have 3 or 4 in each hand!! Little one used to call his dummy a fudd and has the nick-name Konklefroid!!!! We have a cat called Patch which is known as pucklesnodge, another called chucky which is known as Parsnuck a dog called Delboy which is known as Bondoy or Gulp!! I could go on for hours here, but I think I misse4d the point completely!! Sorry The Neil!!

Ahhh sorry to hear about your hamster,losing a pet is never easy............I did laugh my sox off at the way you described the after event though! You did right burying him in a tupperware container, I buried Pogelius Dingleberry Esq. (rabbit) in a cardboard box, and next door neighbour dog got through the fence and dug him up!!! Poor old Pogelius got thrown aroung the garden like a rag doll!!! Dog smelled bootiful!!

Hi everyone, being judged by the way I look is something Ive got used over the last 18 years, Im registered disabled because of spinal problems, I wish I had a ?1 for everytime I have pulled into a disabled parking space and had people give me disapproving looks, shaking thier heads at me etc. etc. I have on several occasions, had people come over to my car before I have had chance to turn off the engine, let alone display my blue badge, and point out that Ive parked in a disabled space, I was told by one elderly gent that I should be ashamed of myself and that I and people like me are the reason proper disabled folk like him can never get a parking space!!! He then walked off a damn sight quicker than Ive walked for 18 years!!! If people would just mind their own business, I for one would be a lot happier!!! Sorry...........I didnt intend going off on a mega rant..........it just happened

Fall-in!!

I am astounded.........my best friend(ex now ) recently told me that she didnt want to be my friend anymore because of my son who has AS, she doesnt believe there is anything wrong with him that a good hiding wouldnt cure and Ive made him the way he is by being a bad mum!!!! It really breaks my heart when I see articles like this one, because it fuels the fires of the idiots that think they are more qualified than the experts to dx our kids!! People like my so called mate have not got a clue Emailing the paper right now!!!!! xxlizzieXX

Hi Shell, I havent actually read this book, but, from the way you have described it, it doesnt sound as though it is appropriate for a seven year old, a book discussing drug addiction (slimming pills) and child abuse( locking a child in a room!!) would be enough to scare any 7ry old silly!! If I were in your shoes I would tell the school that I would prefer if they provided reading material more appropriate for 7yr olds, I wouldnt want my son reading about those subjects at that tender age. Hi Justamom, I really feel for you and Keegan, I know how frustating this must be for you, K had similar problems at his last school, he would come home with detentions for writing (quote)like a five year old!! He is almost 12 now but he has ASD and writing is just one area he has difficulty with!! He also got detentions for being late on numerous occasions, even though we had an arrangement with senco, so that K could arrive late due to his difficulties with crowded places!! I had to contact school loads of times about K not getting the help he needs and in the end it turned out that the biggest majority of Ks teachers didnt know he had AS and thought he was just awkward and unruly!!! I think you need to get angry with them, find out if Keegans teachers are aware of him having AS and how he is affected by it, like me, you might find that very few of the teachers know of Keegans difficulties. I wish I could give you more advice. Hope you get things sorted soon. Lizziexxx
