Hello!

I'm Lydia, and I'm a writer, frustrated poet and Aspergirl.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS) on Thursday, 16th August 2012.

I can remember almost everything I read - I love Charles Dickens, Jane Austen (suspected Aspergirl) and American poet Emily Dickinson (also suspected Aspergirl).

I don't attend school due to my AS; my qualified teacher mother home-schooled me until the summer holidays of 2012 - when I decided to take writing a step further and devote my life to it, with no further education.

Now, I am beautifully emersed in a sea of words, swimming amongst prose and poetry.

I'm quite prone to meltdowns, staying up all night and obsessive routines and rituals.

But when I have the urge to write, there's nothing that can stop me...I just pick up my pen and let the language flow...
