  1. know how u feel, altho i dont get that with my AS son just 'normal' daughter, u cant win can u?
  2. when we took Tom to see dad in hospital he was all over the place, pacing up and down. Then he didt go to sleep until 2 in the morning, and he wet the bed too. He hasnt done that in ages. The funeral is wednesday so we have no choice but to take him, his dad will probably have to stay outside with him when we go to the crem.
  3. my dad died on Friday peacefully in his sleep he had colon cancer so he was lucky to be in no pain. I told Tom who looked sad then went off to play on the P.C.. Thing is, his funeral is likely to be next week and the kids are on school hols. We have to go to Cheltneham for the cremation - we live in west mids. So we are likely to be gone all day. He wont stay with anyone for that long, but dont know how he will cope with the funeral. There is no chruch sefice he was an agnostic as are we all, so w dont have that o endure at least. How do i explain about the coffin going into the curtains?. Any suggestions wd be greatefully received, Im too emotional to think straight at the moment. ty
  4. Oh lord, how are we supposed to cope in these situations. My daughter is always asking ppl back to the house to play or inviting ppl to her birthday parties, then as ive handed over the invitations or arranged it with parents she says no, I dont want them to come. Its soooo embarrassing haveing to tell them she has changed her mind again, Im going to wait till shes am little older and them make her tell them herself. good luck with the room sounds like yore going to need it!
  5. aww i can totally emapthise with u on this one. I suspect my partner of being on the spectrum too he has no emotion really and never hugs the kids or tells them he loves them. I feel for them so much. If they hug him he will hug them back but they have to make the move first. Also when i had four miscarriages he never spoke about them, he said he didnt want to upset me but i dont honestly think he knew what to say or do. My dad has just died (friday), and he hasnt said a word, he made my breakfast on saturday morning and thats the only 'consolation' I got.
  6. my daughter got scared like yr son and wd hold onto a poo for up to a fortnight, she wd be dying to do it but would hold it back and sweat like crazy. she was only 2 at the time and it was quite scary. I went tot the gp in the end and got some lactulose and that worked a treat. It tastes quite nice too, but dont tellhim its to make him poo, tell him its for his tummy ache or he wont take it if hes anything like Ellie. let us know how it goes. <'>
  7. missed the first but fully intend to see the second
  8. <'> good god, why the heck cant taxi drivers who do 'school runs' be trained just as any person who deals with our children would be?. You have put yr trust in that driver and helper to get yr child safely to school and home again, it makes my blood boil!!!!
  9. oh god, its a wonder we dont end up in an asylum the amount of pressure we live under isnt it?. get the stupid cow of a senco and make her move the thing to lunchtime pronto, tell her you will contact the ed authority if she dosent. alos, calling yr child names is abuse and tell the school if its not stopped straight away you will go the the authorities or the newspapers about it. put a rocket up em and light it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. oh lord, how lax can u get?. hope u hear soon <'>

omg, my dd did that when she was 2 and a half, i didnt know and she replaed the receiver. Then i got a call from the cops saying is everyone alright we got a call but noone said anything just heard breathing. I said oh it must have been ellie, she was always phoning someone, and the officer said im coming round to chat to her. I said shes only 2 and a half, but she came anyway poor ellie sat there on the sofa while this officer read her the riot act! Her face was a picture mind you, she never phoned anyone again!
  20. for a while. My dad has colon cancer and we went to visit him last week. He is very thin and weak and the doc says he wont recover. He will stay in hospital as he is being cared for well and he is in no pain at the moment. He has good and bad days, but the doc thinks it wont be long. hope u will bear with me at this time and i will pop in when i can. thanks
