Isnt any synthetic substance called a drug? I take thyroxine which is a thyroid subsitute that is classed as a drug. I used to take valerian for non sleeping ad gp told me that is classed as a drug too. even asprin is a drug.

I have ordered a paul Mckenna cd called sleep like a log. I this dosent work im giving up and taking Melatonin, honestly i cant take much more. Im so ratty and tired the poor kids have had enough of me shouting!! will keep you informed lol. Im really scared of taking melatonin though dont know why.

I think Anthony is used to drinking lager and he was drinking champagene last night, there fore he wasnt used to it and probably drank too much too quickly. think he lost a few points there. loved the way eugene too on responsiblity of looking after him without a fuss unlike craig who looked quite demented at times. thanks for suggestions, although my head buzzes its not really worries that bother me, it just drifts on its own from one subject to the next. yes me too with the Prader Willi thing, although we used to belong to an as group where a boy would go through ppls bags looking for crisps, sweets etc. He would just barge you out of the way and take someones food from them. dont know if he had prader willi though, but he had quite severe autism.

thank you for yr prompt answers I will try all suggestions, I had heard of melatonin but was reluctant to try it - does it effect you in any way?. Is it expensive, as I cant afford to pay too much for remedies. will try all other suggestions before i go down that route. Have tried most of yours Karen, to no avail. I havent tried the earplugs though, they may be ok, but my mind wanders as soon as i hit the pillow and i cant stop it, ive tried to block out my thoughts but they keep going regardless. thought te hypnotic tape would help but i dont think i can be hypnotised as my mind wont even stop then, the dr says imagine you are in a garden which is peaceful and quiet, so im thinking what type of garden, should it have flowers or not, by the time i stop thinking the tape has finished lol.
