Hi all, Quick update. James passed most gcses. Even grade c in art and merit p.e. Hes now settled in at College on Creative Media course. Sadly my dad passed away last weekend and hes been an absolute star. Anyway all take care, signing off for now. Linda.

Hi all, College Calderdale (Halifax) mainstream but xtra help from tutors. Doing Creative Media. Does have friends but not voluntarily sociable. Goes on trips from Mayfield trust in Aug for a week so that gets him out.

Hi all, Well James leaves school on Friday then big wait to start college in Sept. He is going to school prom in couple of weeks which im glad about. Anyone been through this transition? Hints/ tips gratefully received.

Hi Tsukimi, hope you and your mum are doing ok. Your message about the waiting really bought it back to me.James was 3 a.d had 4 (supposed) proffesionals on his case for a year, who still couldnt decide but when my husband said we wanted answers, they said oh yeah we can refer him!! Hes 16 now, but still annoys me.

Thanks all for being so welcoming, its lovely to know so many people share the same situations especially when you think its only you Hi Gareth, great to hear from you. James is doing ok at school, taking his gcses, He does have friends at school but keeps school and home seperate so doesnt socialise voluntarily but likes meeting people and travel. His favourite place is Florida. Also reading, F1, music, concerts, cimema xbox and pc, and keeping me on my toes haha!! Anyway take care all, hope to hear from you soon Linda..
