I have found that "some" behaviours exhibited are the result of the environment, sensory, lack of real understanding and/or expectations of the child. Whilst I agree that challenging, bad or agressive behaviour is not excusable by having aspergers all avenues need to be explored and I too would have been offended by the Head's response, I often think that "pro's" are quick to blame behaviour on the parenting skills of the parents/carers. There are better ways of approaching us to discuss our children and the school yard isn't one of them. Clare x x x
