welcome jlo u will find the best most knowledgable ppl on this site they are a fantastic bunch and will carry u over the coming weeks and months when things are hard i like to think of them as the jesus like ppl in the footprints thingy (yeah bet that made no sense lol)u know the one when u saw only one set of footprints it was then i carried u all the so called experts cannot although they do try to know how u feel but we can and this is a rare thing u take care and if u need advice or help or a good winge or god forbid a laff come on here take care sharon

hiya all not been on for a while been a bit down but feelin much better or was till i read that article. That sort of thinking is nothing short of that of hitler himself. I hope this person(as he is no man in my eyes) burns in hell for all eternity for what he said, since last being on i took a job as an lsa at my sons school and work with children with all kinds of disabilitys from the ones who will go on to lead quite independant lives to the kids that may learn very little but have great social interaction everyday how dare he dismiss these kids. I hope he didnt think like this as a gp but my heart sinks coz i know he probably did anyway all its good to be bk take care sharon

well hello folks and a BIG THX to vastsarah after reading her post i got on to wftc who informed me that i had been underpaid by �70.00 per week since april due to kyle and lee being on dla well i can tell you i was gobsmacked i can tell you this is going to be a fab christmas for the kids and one i wont have to spend half of next year paying for so thankyou vastsara and thankyou all for letting us know all the things that the officialsv should but dont take care sharon x

oh well oh well its only took sice april but the good people at the appeal decided lee was entitled to dla middle rate for care and lower for mobility so there is a god i have never been that nervous since i got married. three cheers for welfare rights the guy was fantastic especially when the so called expert on disability called my parenting skills in to question checky sod i should have invited him to walk in my shoes for a day that would have shut him up lol got to go kids a calling take care sharon x

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hello i just got letter back from ff been turned down kyle pdd(nos) but they have said if i apply for the both of them lee adhd they will reconsider they were realy helpfull if slow but the lady who came to see us was a peach i will apply again when i get this ruddy dla out of the way take care sharon x

hiya all i am going to appeal tomorow for dla for my son lee 12 adhd i have got welfare rights on board they will be there to guide me they are very helpfull any tips/advice would be great will post how we got on when i find out (does anybody know how long a decision takes) wish me luck in this lottery we call dla and if i get a big fat no then i will take my vodka and get drunk as a skunk with hubby watchin kids (ofcourse) then i will start the all over again think they have seen the last of me noooooooooooooooo way i am the ninja lol lost the flipin plot now got hospital /dla/ appeal forms comin out of my ears tada chucks sharon x
