Oh honey you poor thing. Yes Nick used to act just like this, once when l was working he escaped from the house in his pj"s, he flagged down a car and told them his dad had fallen off his ladder and he needed to get to my work could they give him a lift!! He turned up at the restaurant where l work, had a huge meltdown and said he didnt know why he did it he just had to get out!!!Things like this happened all the time, he was better after he was put on medication. Hopefully things might get done now, I would go to your MP as SS dont want to know and say MY SON IS AT RISK PLEASE HELP. We did this and it got thing done. Sending lots of <'> <'> <'> Keep strong

Thanks everyone, l have had a lovely day, Nick had an inset day and announced that he was taking me for lunch, the only problem is he said "l only have �10.00" bless him, we went to the restaurant where my son is head chef and got a 50% dicount so he was ok!!!!!!!! I felt so so sorry for him this morning as he went to the shops and came back with 2 stems of my favourite white lilys, he was really pleased with himself and l was so pleased, 10 minuites later there was a knock on the door and there was interflora with the biggest bunch of white lilys you have ever seen from my eldest son in London. Nick was so upset and had a huge meltdown as he thought l would prefer Toms flowers as they were so big I tried to expain that his meant just as much as he went to buy them himself and used all is pocket money, but he wasent having any of it He calmed down in the end, but l only wanted a peacefull birthday!!!

1000 people did a moonlight walk for the local hospice in Worthing, and they raised an awfull lot of money but guess what THE B_ _ _ _ COUCIL WOULD NOT LEAVE THE PUBLIC TOILETS UNLOCKED FOR THEM!!!! I could not belive this when l was told about it, a couple of pubs let the walkers in and stayed open so people could use the loo, but loads of people had to cross their legs. I am so angry with the council l am going to write to the papers

I would never be brave enough, l am really dark so it would look awfull while it was growing out.It is very tempting though as mine has to be done every 4 weeks now, and l hate doing it, maybe if l was on a deserted island with no one around (how lovely she thinks, especially this morning!!)

Do you know its really common, wanting to jump off of a great height. My sister is a very normal person and went with her job as a PA to the states, her room was really high up in the hotel and she became hysterical saying " I have to jump out of the window" She laughs about it now but she said the feeling was very real. A lot of people are afraid of heights, but it is not so much the height than the feeling of being unsafe, and that you could jump out. I dont mind flying, but my kids booked my husband and l a hot air balloon flight for our anniversay but l had to cancell as there is no way l would go up in a baloon, it is the fact that l could jump out that scares me crazy or what? Anyway glad you are feeling better, you are not alone with your funny thoughts <'> <'>

How old is Z? My Nick had the same problem, he would get ready for school, get on the bus, but he would get very anxious and jump off the bus. When he was in mainstream he would run home as soon as he saw the school. Its strange that like Z he would get into his uniform with no problems, have breakfast, get the schoolbag and go off okay sorry not much advice im afraid,Nick was out of school for 18months and did on line learning which was very good. He now goes to a very small PRU which seems dto be working ok, he is under no pressure and this seems to work, although not ideal, we have to get social issues right and then we can deal with education. sending lots of <'> <'>

Nick had a full week at school, the first one in 18months!! I am so pleased, he seems much happier, and he is tired!!, he was actually asleep by 10.30 last night which is unheard of. It hasnt been plain sailing, he has walked out of school a few times but he has gone back and not come home which is a result, the head said he would rather Nick walked out when he gets stressed than get violent. I feel like a new woman this week, long may it last

I have been away for the weekend to a hotel where everything was included in the price. Full english breakfast and 3 course evening meal, l had the lot and l am really struggling today as my stomach must have swelled over the weekend I AM STARVING!! thank god for caramel snackajacks and shape yougarts!!

Well, im back and had a really fab time, we drank and ate far too much and l think l have put on at least half a stone!!!! The really good news is NICK ONLY RANG ME ONCE!!!! this is amazing as usually he rows with his dad and rings every hour. Its pay back time today though he is being horrible!!

Oh Enid, sorry you had such a bad night, hope all is calm now. When Nick was 12 we used to have to lock all the doors to stop him escaping, it is horrible isnt it especially in the summer when its hot.When Nick has a disagreement or if me and richard argue he still runs out of the house without telling us, sometimes he does it really late at night but l cant lock him in at nearly 15!!, things are much better now, and as l said on my other thread l am sure puberty plays a big part. I do hope Hevs ok
