Hi All. I thought i'd update! I applied for a FF Grant in April, we had a home visit in July and the begining of this month we got �380 towards a hoilday and a computer package which was installed yesterday!. I'm really chuffed as i thought we wouldn't get anything at all!. So i would recomend applying, its worth a bash!.

Hiya <'> <'> I'm so sorry about your poor little pussy cat. I know what you mean about them being totally unaware of the pet not being there. I had to have our doggy put down as she was old and was really poorly. I cried like mad and felt really depressed but my son didn't even realise she wasn't there!. When he did, i explained that she had gone etc etc, 'Oh' he replied and that was that!!. Leaving me blubbing like a baby for days!. It is a blessing in some ways. The daft thing is though he watched the film ET a while later and that upset him for ages, i kept finding him in his room sobbing. He said that he kept thinking about ET!. Crazy eh !!. Sel.

hiya yep my son is the same!. Small toys, bits of rubish hes collected from wherever hes been, stones, peices of paper, paper with his drawings on, keyrings,paper clips etc etc etc!!!. all sorts its a wonder his trousers stay up sometimes with the amount of junk in his pockets weighing them down!. i'm forever finding strange things in my washing machine!!. Hi all. After reading all your kids obsessions, i think i got off quite lightly!. My k's obsessions are: Toy's and small objects of the moment that he carries in his pockets (everywhere!!), has in the bath ( if poss) and sleeps with!. He offen goes to bed with loads of toys and books in his bed, how he ever gets any sleep i will never know!!. Computers Ps2 / gameboy etc Sonic the headhog Bart simpson. Thats about all i can think of at the mo!. Sel.

Hi all, Sorry i have not been around for a while, i have bbeen having a rather bad time of it lately. I am posting now to ask wether anyone else has found this, if so what do i do about it?. My nine year old has become really sneaky, he has stolen things from peoples houses, then lied about it. He does things and you know that he has done it and he says he hasn't. He tells lies than are clearly lies!. School don't allow toy's and things to be taken into school, i have been told constantly to insure that he doesn't bring things into school. I cheak his bag, pockets etc before school, he promises he has nothing. Then i find out from school that he has managed to sneak something in by hiding it in his belt hooks on his trousers or in his undies or something. I am at my wits end!. I take him into shops with me etc and the shop-keeper/staff watch him like a hawk, eventhough he has never stolen from a shop. He just looks and acts like he is about to nick something, it terrible and its making me feel horrid. I can't stand poeple that are liers,cheats and are dishonest, and my son is one of them. I really don't know what to do. He does not listen to me at all, i have tried talking to him, taking him back to peoples houses to return what he has taken but he shows no regrets or anything, he does not seem the least bit bothered!. I hope someone can offer some advise, please. it really starting to get me down. Thanks Sel.

Hi all, I am really quite worried about seeing his record now!. I am pretty emotional at the mo, I don't want to find out loads that i didn't know and end up bawling or shouting at anyone!!. The other thing is they have been a bit crafty, what has happened the head had obviously got my letter requesting to see his SEN, then because the request for more SSA has been turned down she has decided that well will meet and chat about that at the same time!. So at this meeting there will be SENCO, His literacy teacher, his SSA, HT, hubby and little ole me!. The meeting is going to take place before school, at 8:30 so really we are not going to get alot of time!. I think its been done on purpose!, What do i do?. Can i ask to go somewhere private after the meeting to look over this and perhaps make another appointment to talk through the SEN later?. I just think its all too much to be done in less than half an hour !. Thanks Sel

Hi all, Another update!. A lady from the PP came out to see me today and showed me a lot i was not aware of!. I have IEP's without the outcomes!. Which apparently i should have!, lots of other things that i will bring up at the meeting on monday. I have written to the LEA requesting a re-assesment, I received an email earlier from them stating that they will put it to panel next week, so i'll try again!. Fingers crossed!. Hopefully we might get more hours yet!!?. Sel.

Hi again, I am really wondering why i bother sending K to school at all!. Another really pooey day. His home/school book is horrible again today. yesterday apparently he hid at lunch-time and did not go into the hall for his lunch. No one realised and he had nothing to eat at school at all yesterday. After questioning his teacher she said, It is not our custom or practise to register every child for dinners on a daily basis, as this would be too time consuming. K purposely hid at dinner-time yesterday with a view not to be found. WHAT??. Today was poo too!, today's report was: K was not very well behaved today, he was reluctant to listen and again made noises with his mouth and by banging things on the table. This afternoon k was caught climbing up the green container in the playground, after being told numerous times to get down. He still wouldn't listen and kept tyring to get on top of it. K knows he is not allowed on the container!. Can you tell him that he is'nt to climb on it and mustn't keep making noises in class. k apparently said he was silly today because he didn't have his tablet early enough, so it wasn't working. Can you ensure he has his tablet every morning!?. When will she understand!, He has ADHD and AS!!!!!. ( also tells fibs!! ) his tablet too late!. He has it every morning at 8:30!. After breakfast and it takes 15mins to start working, so thats not a reason!, I could scream!!!. Sorry about the huge rant and the length of this post guy's!!
