  1. Hello All. I'm posting here to advertise a series of specialised workshops I'll be running in the New Year. For background, I'm a stopmotion Character Animator with 15 years of experience in TV and commercials. Credits include 'Harry Potter', 'OOglies' and adverts for McCain, Dulux, Velvet, Nationwide etc. As an animator, the major part of my work is observing body language, analysing the subtleties and transposing it on to an inanimate object, therefore giving it personality and emotion. I recently worked with home-schooled AS children in the United States, using animation to explore body language, expression etc. The age group ranged from 8 to 16. I am now offering something similar in the UK. WORKSHOP OUTLINE: Using simple Plasticine models and top of the range animation software, we'll be exploring human body language and expression. We will be acting out emotions, discussing the important elements, then testing them out on the Plasticine models. The results will be analysed by the group and sometimes refined with further efforts. The aim is to deliver key aspects of body language in a memorable manner. The workshops will be informal, open and creative. Venue: Govanhill Baths, 99 Calder Street, Glasgow G42 7RA Dates: Sundays from January 6th onwards (tbc) Length: 2 hours No. of places per session: 5 Age range: 8-adult Fee: £25 Please email cadi@rubber-rocket.com for more information or to book a space. www.rubber-rocket.com gives you my professional background and credits. Many thanks!
