I read a post a few months ago that someone had got tuition written into their child's statement till 19 - I'd love to know if that's right and if so where etc (please pm me). My son is 16, v bright with recently diagnosed AS - can't cope with mainstream schools/college. Since diagnosis, he tried one AS residential place but it didn't work out. He has now been offered another place but won't go - LEA want to name it and stop his tuition or cut back. Does anyone know maximum hours one can get in tuition and if it can be put on statement.
