Digital TV switchover

Extra help switching to digital television will go to all households with one person aged 75 or over, all households where one person has a significant disability and to households where one person is registered blind or registered partially sighted.

I saw an ad in the RT the other day for 'freestat' from sky, which i didn't previously know about...

It's an alternative option to a digi-box, and is available in most areas where digis don't go yet...

For a one off payment of �150.00 you get a minidish/decoder etc and installation, and you get all of the freeview channels + a few extras...

We have OK reception through the aerial, but in this weather it tends to break up a bit, so I'm toying with this idea myself - it's probably cheaper than getting a new 'ultra strong' aerial put up, and chances are you'll get 'add on' options later on...
