I'm with you Lya!! I'm beginning to think they're all at some party with a few too many 'happy pills' and :wine::lol:  13-sided coins intrigue me though - completely inefficient - I'd like to see some of those.

... the roads being busy when three cars went past in the same ten minutes.

... when skateboards didn't exist.

... when you got two chocolate flakes in a 99 and it cost 99p

... CB radios being waaaaay popular - everyone seemed to have one!

... espidrilles! (sp)

... ankle warmers being a MUST!

I remember the darkness...

I remember the fear...

I remember the chitinous chatter of the swarming insects as they clamoured over clothes and flesh with equal indifference, and the red, shining eyes of the rats...

Most of all, I remember the beatings and the screams......

Best episode of Adam Adament EVER! ;)

I'm a happy knocker upper

And I'm popular besides

Cos I wake 'em with a cuppa

And tasty Mothers Pride

Question: which quintessentially cool 60's chanteuse starred in this ad?

No takers for this then?

I just don't know WHAAAAT to do with myself.......

I loved my Sindy doll. One of the first sort, with a brunette bob & the equivalent of a 32" bust. My dad told me if he won a bet on a horse I could have one. The horse lost, but one look at my :tearful: face & he got me one anyway! I spent days just staring at her. My bro bought me the Sindy riding outfit for christmas, he'd just started work, and my mum used to knit her tiny ickle mini dresses!

Sindy sooooo much better than Barbie, sadly I used to cut her hair :o .....but there used to be a shop called the Dolls Hospital and you could buy new ones, either blond or brunette !
