NickyB Report post Posted October 26, 2008 Yipee I had the most fabulous day in Portsmouth, got REALLY wet and managed to cross the finish line after 2 hours 6 minutes. Now I'm feeling very sore but extremely relieved that it's all over! Thanks to you all for your support

Tally Report post Posted October 27, 2008 Congratulations! Aren't you glad you didn't do the one in Cumbria over the weekend where the competitors had to be airlifted!
JsMum Report post Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) How on earth do you do it, running for 2 hours and 6 mins, wow, Im in total orrr, I sure wish I could run, It was ment to be my new years resolution, may be next year hey, anyway a massive well done, a great achievement. Aparently the organiser said the cumbria marathon was all blown out of proportion, as it rains all the time there. We have been stuck in one of those cumbrian mountains too, in feburary, but wow it was brilliant. WELL DONE. JsM. NickyB Report post Posted October 28, 2008 Thanks everyone I have to confess that I did the last 3 miles or so somewhere in between walking and running (my running partner said it was 'power walking' but I think he was just being kind ) I'm not sure I'll ever do another race, but I'll certainly keep up the jogging regularly (after I've taken this week off ) Thanks for your donation Tally
