ScienceGeek Report post Posted January 11, 2009 We've just bought a new computer and for some reason I'm still only getting 25fps on WoW. I was playing on my laptop and getting better than that, with really bad integrated graphics. The spec of the new computer is: Intel Core 2 Quad 4GB RAM Nvidia Geoforce 7100 640GB Hard Drive For those technically minded, any ideas on how to improve my fps? I've turned all the settings down on the game, updated the drivers, turned off all background apps.

Kris Report post Posted January 13, 2009 Which Operating system are you using? I'm assuming its Vista if its a new laptop? Are you using the Vista supplied NVidia driver or have you downloaded the latest driver pack direct from Nvidia? Kris
ScienceGeek Report post Posted January 13, 2009 Yeah I updated everything but the fps was still really low. Have put in a new graphics card now though an ATI Radeon HD4650 and its running at about 100fps now
