Ultimatus Report post Posted May 1, 2009 There is one thing that stands out for me and having Asperger's... Whenever I am learning a new skill, my natural talent is usually behind others at the beginning, but give me a little more time and I nearly always surpass their skill. In some cases the skill will interest me so much that I become engrossed in it and it becomes one of my 'special interests'. For example, juggling, I had always been in awe of people that can juggle. A friend I lived with at University could juggle and taught me the basics, I don't think he anticipated what happened, I became obessed with it for a good 6 months, practicing 5 hours a day and reading about it all other times haha! Kinda Report post Posted May 3, 2009 Hi My son has this trait and to date its been hockey, maths, guitar and his job.
