Forum running slowly?

Recommended Posts

Is it just me or has the forum started running really slowly for other people too?

It gets there, but there's (almost) time to make a cup of tea between clicking on things and things happening...

I wondered if that was why there had been less posts recently (or if people were just busy wrapping Christmas prezzies up )

It seems the same as usual for me, Mumble. I notice that if I use Firefox everything is quicker.

I've noticed though that very often these days I have to delete duplicate new topics whenever I log on and I'm wondering if this is the result of the forum being slow - i.e. people are resubmitting the topic because they think it hasn't loaded.

Yep - that's happened to me a few times...

haven't noticed the forum being slow for a couple of weeks now, so i guess it's more a server problem than a forum problem(?) - i.e. it's the local server that's slow and other users are fine...
