tmd_63 Report post Posted February 13, 2010 Hi there, Glad to have found this forum. I have a son who has been diagnosed with Aspergers. And I see some of his symptoms in myself. I have also found a test that is supposed to test the extent of autistic traits in adults written by Psychologist Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at Cambridge's Autism Research Centre. In this, I have scored high (39). So I am hoping to find further information here.

smiley1590 Report post Posted February 14, 2010 heya there it quite common to have a child officially diagnosed with AS and then find out the signs around that condition affect you too without realising there was a actual name to it as such! i would go to your docs and ask to be referred to be assessed for AS as it be high possibility you could be AS but until assessed further... we all guessing that it adds up to that ovious picture in the background! and it can be genetical factors play a major role and factor in some families so can run in to parent then child too .... XKLX good luck keep us updated please!?
