Perfect resume, I would say :D

Sometimes yeah, I like meaningful music and really cleverly composed pieces, but sometimes I think that music for fun, for some kind of 'feel good factor' is important too - just to lighten up and chill out and in that sense the video you put up is perfect because its simple, trashy, catchy and I quite like it - I almost put it up myself a few days ago ;)

I get your points about the 'We are Young' track. I must admit my initial reaction is to think about the benefits of being semi-retired. It doesn't take much imagination to transport myself to a works Christmas do at 1:00am in the morning and that coming on the dance floor with a lot of people pissed, for some reason I get an image of middle aged women in evening dresses the worst for wear waving arms in the air singing out of tune trying to balance on high heel shoes, and to be honest it doesn't do much for me these days.

The evening dress has gone into retirement as well and I haven't worn anything with a decent heel sine the late 1970's

Anything Roots Manuva, a pretty unique guy, rather weird in some respect but talks a lot of sense.

I normally put my ipod on shuffle in the car, or shuffle itunes when I'm at home. Today, the last thing I listened to was Who Will You Run to Now by Brother Firetribe. (I have no idea how to post links to videos etc).

Just type the Youtube URL on a separate line (if necessary, replacing https with http) and it will display as an embedded video:

I'm currently listening to Berlioz's opera Les Troyens, broadcast live on Radio 3 from the Metropolitan Opera House, New York.
