Had my idenity stolen, giro stolen and loads of parcels stolen(by 1 person)

Really upset as can barely afford bills at the moment yet my ex neighbour who was stealing letters and parcels when living next door has done identity theft in my name, if thats not bad enough he already has a history of growing and selling drugs, subletting a 1 bedroom flat to 4 people, claiming benefit under 4 names AND working full time etc.

 

And he knows I have aspergers and am a vulnerable person on anti depressants.

 

Went to police who dont care apart from the giro he stole(signed under his own name, and forged a rent book and letter from me) saying they dont deal with identity fraud.

deka try ringing up the benefits DWP and report him because he is claiming under 4 names and is he claiming under your name u need to know

You can contact the credit reference companies. They can put a note on your credit file so that if anyone applies for any finance, credit cards etc in your name it will be double double checked if they are really you.

and as for your identiy theft thing, im sorry to be blunt but its only money! you,ll bring this guy to justice and get it all back. no one really gets away with it easy these days. so dont worry too much about it, late on this thread so i hope you got it sorted.
