Well, I'm still waiting for someone to explain 'omnium', lol.

Did have one, which means two words which invariably go together like 'bangers n' mash'. But I can't remember it and I can't find it. Sorry.

Omnium is a cycling term of an event which contains six different disciplines. It is taken from the term 'omnium-gatherum' which means a miscellaneous collection or assortment in latin. It is the cycling equivalent of a decathlon or heptathlon in atheletics. Laura Trott won the omnium gold at the London Olympics this year.

Patres omnipotemtem.

Shouldn't that be "Pater omnipotens"? If you're speaking Latin, that is.

Well, yeah, once you know it it's hard to imagine how you got by without it ;)

Bwahahaha! :) I read something yesterday about "portmeanteau words" - where 2 words are run together to form a new word, like "chillax" (chill + relax) or "ridonkulous" (ridiculous + donkey - although I'm still unsure how donkeys come into it?), I was surprised at the number of well-established portmanteau words in our language of which I wasn't aware: "camcorder" - camera and recorder, for example. Fun times :)

About a year ago I learnt all the new cool words that the teenagers are using, such as "bare", "peng", "lowe" etc

Oh dear, I feel old, I've never heard any of those words!! I thought I was still cool using "chillax" :D
