Mannify Report post Posted September 8, 2012 I see a gap for a properly embarrassed emoticon (a gradual blush?), a bored emoticon (head in hands?) and a sleepy emoticon. Any chance?
A-S warrior Report post Posted September 8, 2012 and a middle finger emoticon, i utilise them all the time on other forums.

darkshine Report post Posted September 9, 2012 I thought sorry would be a good one, or embarrassed, or an angel cuz you got a devil. And last time I said that I was told that and covered them - which I don't think they fully do. Cuz oops isn't always embarrassed and peace is too smiley for a sincere apology and the angel thing still has a devil blasting it so the angel doesn't look very innocent does it? A-S warrior Report post Posted September 9, 2012 I think that's what the peace one is for its too smiley and childish. and i very seldom smile in real life lol my face is expressionless like a terminator
darkshine Report post Posted September 9, 2012 True - maybe it should look worried or like neutral or maybe even with a wink
darkshine Report post Posted September 9, 2012 I don't smile much either most of the time - I guess that's why I like the smiley ######...

darkshine Report post Posted September 9, 2012 True... I could have written it differently I guess, but I can't always be bothered with doing that.
indiscreet Report post Posted September 9, 2012 The largest number of emoticoms I've ever come across is on the IMDb boards.
Mannify Report post Posted September 9, 2012 I can verify the need for a sincerely sorry emoticon. The current offering doesn't cut it.
Mannify Report post Posted September 9, 2012 There isn't a good thank you, either, is there? That's another one that you'd want to look sincere.
Mannify Report post Posted September 16, 2012 I really think we could do with an emoticon that expresses care and concern; a simple statement, rather than a burdensome request for information or reassurance - a kind of lodging of one's support, sort of thing. Not sure how that would be communicated in a single emoticon, though.

Mannify Report post Posted September 18, 2012 We need an 'ouch' emoticon, too.
darkshine Report post Posted September 18, 2012 Hang banging can hurt sometimes.....
Mannify Report post Posted September 18, 2012 Yeah, gonna have to remind myself of that next time I'm tempted :ouch:
darkshine Report post Posted September 18, 2012 I think if you put some death metal on it might mean you can head bang for a lot longer with no pain at all (from what I've observed anyway)
Mannify Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Dunno, Lancslad reckons I'm too much of a novice. I obviously misjudged my own head-banging competence.
darkshine Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Maybe you were just overenthusiastic... I checked out the song you said you were head banging to, you could cheat and head bang to alternative beats (then you half the amount of head bangs I guess).... worth a try?
Mannify Report post Posted September 19, 2012 Well, against my better judgement (i.e. my neck, which is still a bit iffy, as well as a child development chapter waiting to be revised), I tried it. Verdict: easier on the neck, but not very exhilarating.
darkshine Report post Posted September 20, 2012 Maybe you need a new technique
Mannify Report post Posted September 21, 2012 (edited) Yeah well, see, head-banging has never really been my thing. I've always been a flailer ( so not cool, I know), which does involve a fair bit of head and hair flinging, but not with the same intensity. So it probably does need working on. What's the consensus? A straightforward back and forth head-bang, or is a bit of a sweep from side to side ok? Edited September 21, 2012 by Mannify
darkshine Report post Posted September 21, 2012 What's the consensus? A straightforward back and forth head-bang, or is a bit of a sweep from side to side ok? Don't forget the whole head spin thing with hair flying in a circle! If it were me I'd try each out and see which feels most comfortable - you can always compensate for any limitedness in head-banging (through pain) by going with the flailing thing
Mannify Report post Posted September 21, 2012 Very enlightened. I was expecting some head-banging purism. Remind me, though, how did we go from emoticons to head-banging analysis?
darkshine Report post Posted September 21, 2012 My fault... I knew you were talking about head banging when you said we needed an "ouch" emoticon...

darkshine Report post Posted September 21, 2012 Ok... back on topic then... I think there should be more fun ones... there should be a rollercoaster one that can be used when going to theme parks or when life has it's different aspects (fun, fear, speed, going upside down, ups and down etc). Plus it'd be fun to watch, it could zip along the screen with little people in a cart, there could even be a loop in it to make it larger and annoying
