Sa Skimrande Report post Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Got them myself, they just appeared over the last few years, three of them in places they weren't before and so I have an appointment to see a dermatologist, just to check them out and perhaps you should do so too. But a useful website on skin things; http://www.aad.org/skin-conditions/dermatology-a-to-z/moles But we live in a toxic world, perhaps not the natural world, but what mankind puts in it with chemicals that not naturally occurring in nature, but are component parts of other chemically that are in nature. Plastics being the one particularly and derivatives of oil as plastic comes from oil and oil that comes out of the ground I view as death from the past, useful, but at what eventual cost ? And so over recent years I have been ridding myself of dependence on chemicals and so use older methods to clean up and what goes on my head in terms of shampoos and stuff, I only use natural products that contain none of the suspicious nasties that have been linked to various problems to include cancers, but as the jury is still out on these dodgy chemicals I prefer to keep away from them just in case. Yeah it might not be convenient and it might be messy sometimes sticking as close to natural as possible, but it's my choice. I used to work in a very toxic environment exposed to lethal and destroying chemicals and gases daily and so I am anti chemical these days as only recently did I discover trichloroethane of which I used daily in an enclosed non ventilated atmosphere has been banned from use as it is linked with cancer, a brilliant solvent but it used to suck the moisture out of your skin if the gloves gave way, which they often did and others walking into a room where I used it used to say they float back out, whereas it didn't bother me at all. But it is perhaps wise to look at the chemicals in your environment and research them and make your decisions as there is some evil chemicals we are exposed to. Mike_GX101 Report post Posted November 17, 2012 (edited) Photocopier toners also contain carcinogenics so be very careful if you use them in your office. Never inhale any particles from them and also if you get it on your hands wash, wash and wash again - it just isn't worth not washing your hands. Read more here. That link also discusses other hazards with photocopiers so watch out especially if you have one right next to your desk at work - it may have super efficient effects on your work processes but you may want to open the windows and leave them open - maybe even get a gas mask just for peace of mind!
