Kathryn Report post Posted September 4, 2005 Hi, My daughter has just started on 25 mg of anafranil which is a tricyclic antidepressant (generic name: clomipramine). She's been on amytripteline, but this is supposed to replace it and tackle the OCD more directly. I hate this continued dependence on drugs, but she wants to try it.
