TylersMum Report post Posted September 13, 2005 Just wanted to share because I'm pretty proud of myself. Tyler started school last Monday and I have been in touch with some Parent Governors and have been proposed and seconded onto the school Board! Feel dead chuffed that I am actually going to have some say in the future of Tylers school and his education

Kazzen161 Report post Posted September 14, 2005 I have been a Governor at the Twin's old junior school for two years now. I quite enjoy it, but there is a lot of work involved, and a lot of responsibility. I am also the SEN Governor and the ICT Governor - both areas which need improving upon. Kazzen161 Report post Posted September 16, 2005 Let us know how your meeting goes - the first one can be a bit daunting. Go to any training offered - out County does brilliant Induction Training for new Governors - I was lucky enough to attend this the during the day, just before my first meeting!
