Lynden Report post Posted January 11, 2006 but can someone please explain the difference to me in simple terms? Ordered MorEPA for L which we started today but on the info it says MorDHA for under 5s I'm fairly confused by it all to be honest! Lynne
call me jaded Report post Posted January 11, 2006 It seems the 'Mor' company supply EPA to over-5s and DHA to under 5's. EPA and DHA are both Omega 3 fatty acids. Alex Richardson (and she is an expert) is definitely leaning towards EPA as being the most suitable form, but then I know there has been quite a bit of research on DHA in infant formula and perhaps the company are taking the 'safer' (i.e. most researched) option. Why don't you send them an email to ask why?
Lynden Report post Posted January 11, 2006 So should I be giving him morDHA then? Not entirely sure what I should be asking them if I do email Lynne
call me jaded Report post Posted January 11, 2006 It's a minuscule difference, really. Personally I would use the MorDHA.
