My boss hates me

Recommended Posts

I'm really angry and tired tonight, but my boss hates me. For all the world that's read any posts from me, hello, this is the real me tonight,

I'm an adult undergoing diagnosis, I'm very depressed, there isn't much I can do, I can put up flags, asking them to look after me, it won't happen.

Really wish I could go to sleep and die tonight, maybe I will.

Hi Richt, >:D<<'>

I hope that you have found some confort life for sure is so difficult at time, how do you know that your boss hate you? :(

beside this may have nothing to do with you some people just hate others without a reason so please don't start to feel so low about it, lets put it this way boss to be boss have to be mainly selfcentred :D uncompassionate:wacko: and agressif :ninja: when you take it from there Bosses then tend to hate people around them and when they like them it is often because they can use them as they please to look good with big bosses like them or to show off in various circunstances, nothing to do with sincerely liking somebody if you see what I mean, the problem is that bosses can make your life very miserable, the best advice is to keep your distance and do enough quality work to avoid being notice in a bad way, is this possible?

If you really cannot cope may be you should consider talking to your GP and ask for councelling and even time off.

Do take care I hope a restful night has brought you some energy and comfort. :)

Malika.

Hi Richt,

Hope you are feeling better today..... you are not alone, we all have highs and lows, and sounds like you are having a really terrible time at the moment, this must be really awful for you.

I agree with Malika, but Richt, even if you ask your GP and ask for a referral to a good counsellor, you probably feel like a pressure cooker at the moment, needing to let off a bit of steam. get it out Richt, keep posting, don't forget we are here for you. >:D<<'> >:D<<'>

I am here for you keep posting. You will feel a lot better. You have taken a huge step forward by speaking out about how you feel, this is good, you might feel like cr*p but it is sooo good to talk here or to a counsellor, this lets off steam from that pressure cooker safely.

Be gentle with yourself, and try and do things that make you feel good.

Hi Richt

I won't ask how you are feeling, i was where you are now a wk ago and boy is it some pit to be in. I finally realised i couldn't carry on like it anymore and made ap for gp. It was my best move. I was able to get everything out that had been stored for sometime and ended up breaking down in her office.

She was very sympathetic, put me on tabs, but went thry everything about them 1st. And then took my biggest pressure away from me....she signed me of from work. My employer is being just the same at the mo, just coz they have never suffered depression they don't understand when soemone does and thinks you should just get on with things.

Try and get hold of the pamphlet 'deflating depression' it was reading this that gave me the push to go to the gp. It really puts it into perspective why you feel the way you do at this present time in your life.

Although the tablets take up to 14 days to kick in, i already feel better in the fact i have talked to somebody about it, I can't even begin to tell you what a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders in doing so.

Pls pls make the app.....it really does help!

I truely hope you are ok after some sleep..... >:D<<'>

Thanks for all the support folks, slightly better perspective today, but very up and down. (Had to go off for a cry today at work)

I'm being redeployed with work (200 miles from home, despite there being an identical job where I am now) My boss is being very difficult about it, it's a long story, but basically I'm the only one of three who are being moved around who is married, with children, a house and all that stuff. Need to move by Easter - so not a lot of time to get things done.

The boss doesn't know about the dx, saw the Dr in September - I guess it takes a long time. Saw him about how I was feeling last week, got to go back for some blood test results this week.

Once again, thanks, it's reassuring to have people out there who listen.

Cheers

R

Hi Richt, I think it may help your situation slightly if your boss was aware of the possible dx of ASD, or at least the investigation into it. This would mean he would have to take it into consideration at the very least without the DX and absolutely with one. Push your GP about an urgent referal to a specialist - offering to take a short notice appointment may help.

I truly hope you get through this one way or another. We are alwyas here to listen.

Hi richt, just wanted to say well done on seeing your gp,do you think maybe your gp could write a letter for you to give to your boss explaining that a move may not be the best thing for you at the moment and maybe give you a note for some time off it need not go into full details.Don't know if this helps, just an idea, hope you get it all sorted. Take care.

Hi Richt,

This must be a really difficult time for you, it is a huge thing having to uproot your family, I have found doctors very supportive and if you have a support network here, that is also very important to you and your family.

I think you will be amazed at how helpful your GP can be in all of this. You need his support take it.

Be gentle with yourself. This might be the light at the end of the tunnel. This alone is causing you a lot of unnecessary stress, now wonder you are feeling how you do. You have a load on your mind.

Good luck, praying for you that all is resolved very soon

Hi Richt,

This is a tough situation to be in: no wonder you're feeling stressed.

It seems that your boss is acting unreasonably. Have you sought advice on what your rights are in this situation? If you don't belong to a union, the citizens advice bureau or your local jobcentre may be able to help.

Hi Richt,

Not really an expert on Employment Law but I'm pretty certain that if you have dependents then there have to be some serious discussions about relocation, especially if there are others without dependents who can move.

Has boss given you the reasons why: perhaps you're better qualified then they are, perhaps he trusts you to be a better example for his own reputation, perhaps you are being groomed for a higher position without your knowledge.

In business there often reasons for employee reolcation - not usually because the boss hates you. Find out from him whether this move is part of a career advancement for you because if it isn't then you should be able to plead your case and stay put.
