    Thanks. Once I tried the your a young lady now and should be bathing yourself etc... so left her alone in the bath. 5 mins later she was screaming, i ran in the bathroom to a lot of blood in the water. She had decided to have shave. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Won't be doing that again

    Hi all, any of you have difficulty in getting your kids to care about their appearance.

    Getting my 12 yr old to have a shower or bath, do her teeth, brush her hair is a constant battle.

    Ant ideas, I'm all out.

    But for some reason she does wear make-up probably seen other girls doing it at school.

    Hi my name is Diane and I am the proud parent of a daughter, 12 years old with ASD. I am learning support assistant at my daughters, very large, mainstream secondary school in Manchester. I also have 2 other children, a son who is 10 and a daughter who is 19 and a step daughter who is 24.

    We have lots of pets as this is my daughters "thing" We have 2 dogs, a cat, a rabbit, a gineapig and 2 fish.
