  1. I can empathise with Special Talent here. I had an accident myself on the 29th July this year. I have broken my left Arm and three meta-carpals, while woo hoo to the time off work i have to say boo to the disturbed routine

  2. As an aside into the human resources comment, it is one area into which those with a forensic psychology background can enter into. I seem to remember reading that some where, possibly the BPS website. Not what i'd choose to do for a living, being not entirely convinced i am human :D

  3. My assessment is tomorrow and although i'm still nervous reading about the positive feedback from those who've been through has gone some way toward alleviating the stress somewhat. The main concern is the fact it's with the CMHT nearby, it's new, the people are new and i find it all hard to cope with.

  4. Creams and lotions are my personal phobias, i'm ok with gels, foams, liquids and funnily toothpaste, which i suppose could be classified as "cream". I have no idea why, but due to this i often have to use the spray on type of sunblock, when it gets sunny enough around the last week of april for a few days ;)

  5. Was watching QI last night and apparently us male type humans are programmed to spot larger and/or moving things better than smaller stationary things. This is likely because the females of the tribe were the gatherers, and therefore are predisposed to finding small objects that don't move, like my glasses, and my house keys.......... anyway, thats what steven fry's QI elves reckon anyway

  6. Hi, my name is Archie, I'm 32 and live in North Wales (just). I'm currently awaiting a diagnosis of whatever, the educational psychologist reckons it's "high functioning". I have an assessment on the 16th of February, can anyone tell me what to expect or do these things vary from county to county? Thanks, Archie

  7. I figure this is the best place to introduce myself. My name is Archie, and i'm a 32 year old from wales. I've been fighting with the GP to get an ASD assessment since april last year and i finally have the date set for 16th february. I was just wondering if someone can let me know what to expect, this mostly because i'd really like to know on account of the unknown really unsettles me. Thanks folks, Archie.
